A week of the abolition war between the major factions in Syrian north kills 170 persons at least including 156 fighters of Al-Zenki, Suqour Al-Sham, Ahrar Al-Sham and Tahrir Al-Sham

Aleppo and Idlib provinces are witnessing continuation of the violent clashes in areas there for the seventh consecutive day within the abolition war between the major factions in Syrian north, where the violent clashes are continuing in the western section of Aleppo countryside, between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Ahrar Al-Sham, in an attempt by each party to end the presence of the other in the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the clashes between them in the area of Darat Izza in an attempt by al-Zenki to snatch the control of the town from the grip of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, amid advancement by al-Zenki and Ahrar Al-Sham and their control over the important town of Darat Izza, while the clashes are continuing in separated areas in Idlib countryside, between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Suqour Al-Sham and Ahrar Al-Sham, and the clashes between the both parties are concentrated in the north-eastern section of Jabal Shashabo and other areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, in an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on positions of Ahrar Al-Sham, while the pace of clashes decreased this morning at the entrance and the outskirts of Hizano town in the north of Idlib, which witnessed violent clashes yesterday accompanied by violent and intensive shelling between the both parties in several attempts by Tahrir Al-Sham to control it.

The violent fighting which started on the 20th of February 2018, accompanied by shelling by tanks and mortar shells, and which also targeted residential neighborhoods in the towns and villages which are witnessing clashes between the conflicting factions, raged massive resentment in the area, amid civil calls to stop the fighting and open fronts against the regime forces instead of this fighting which citizens described as free services for their enemies, in addition to calls to stop the random shelling between the conflicting parties, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented during this period, the death of 14 citizens including 6 children and 3 citizen women, who where killed in the random shelling and shooting in Aleppo and Idlib countryside.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented since the start of fighting on the 20th of February 2018, the death of 156 fighters at least of the conflicting parties in Idlib and Aleppo, where 94 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Suqour Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, and 62 fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Suqour Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that Ahrar Al-Sham and Suqour Al-Sham managed to advance and the have controlled since the abolition war started, Al-Hbit, Al-Hbit checkpoint, Abdeen, Horsh Abdeen, Horsh al-Qassabiyyeh, Tremla and its outskirts, Karsaa, Maarrat Al-Sain, Hish, Marayan, Ihsim, Maarrat al-Nu’man and most of its outskirts, Rowayha, Al-Dana, Jaradah, Mantaf, Ariha, Maarbalit, Shalkh, Ram Hamdan, Kafar Yahmoule, Maarrat Misrin, Haranbush, the village of Sheikh Bahr, Al-Fiqia, Wadi Al-Deif Camp, Hazanu, Batabu and Killi, and Ahrar Al-Sham also strengthened its control in the villages of Sahl al-Ghab, and advanced in other areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah and Jabal Shashabo, where the fighting escalated in Idlib countryside, and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was forces to withdraw from several areas without fighting, due to the lack of its members, or its successive withdrawal to areas where its military power is larger, while in the western countryside of Aleppo, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham managed to advance at the expense of the other party and take the control of Basratun, Uwayjil and Taqad, amid its advancement in Kafr Naha area, while the combat operations are concentrated in Anjara and other areas in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the fighting resulted in the fall of tens of captives from the ranks of the both of parties, also the continuation of clash in this violent pace comes in conjunction with vicious attack by the regime forces and allies, and has caused resentment among the people in the western countryside of Aleppo and the countryside Idlib of this war, which depends on the abolition, and aims to it through the escalation of attacks by the factions, amid the absence of interference by mediators to resolve the dispute, unlike the previous times in the north of Syria which witnessed fights between the rebel factions operating in the area, also sources from the area confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that this war raged between the opposition Syrian parties; after regime forces led by the Brigadier General in the regime forces Suhail Hassan was headed with the loyal gunmen to Rif Dimashq, in order to carry out a large operation against the factions operating in the Eastern Ghouta, and after the end of the existence of the “Islamic State” organization in central of Syria, after the surrender of hundreds of ISIS members and their families to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and factions, and after the factions that used to clash against the regime in the countryside of Idlib headed to the clash fronts south of Afrin, and after the entry of the Turkish columns and establishing points near Idlib, after all that; the arena was emptied for a war and bloody clashes, in which each party seeks to achieve an advancement at the expense of the other, amid shelling, killing and capturing between both parties.
