With the anticipation of applying Putin’s truce in the Eastern Ghouta and after hours of quiet, about 45 raids, missiles and barrel bombs target 4 cities and towns

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the shelling retargeted the Eastern Ghouta again, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the regime forces by 9 shells on Douma city, while the warplanes carried out 2 raids and targeted areas in al-Nashabiyah town, in conjunction with dropping 3 barrel bombs by helicopter on areas in al-Shifonyyah town, followed by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Harasta city, where they targeted it by 4 raids, also the helicopters dropped 10 barrel bombs on areas in Douma city, in conjunction with 2 raids by warplanes on areas in the city, and a renewed shelling by 10 shells at least, also the warplanes targeted areas in Al-Shifonyyah town by 4 raids, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the clam has been prevailing the Eastern Ghouta for about 4 hours, where the aerial and artillery shelling has stopped in the eastern Ghouta except for a raid by warplanes on the orchards of Al-Shifonyyah town at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, in conjunction with the exchange of shelling between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against Jaysh al-Islam on the contact lines between both parties in al-Marj area, this calmness comes after rocket and artillery shelling which killed and injured tens of citizens in the Eastern Ghouta today and yesterday, after the 7 bloody days in the Eastern Ghouta, in which more than 3000 Syrian civilians were killed and wounded, such calm comes before the “humanitarian truce” decided by Russia in the Eastern Ghouta, which is expected to be applied after about 13 hours from now, following its participation in the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta along with the regime forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that it rose to at least 22, the number of martyrs who were killed today in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus. The casualties are 11 citizens , most of them are from one family, including 6 children and 4 women, who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes in Douma city at Sunday – Monday midnight, and 10 citizens including a child were killed in a massacre carried out by the regime forces targeting Douma city, and a citizen was killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in Harasta city, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured people in serous conditions, and the presence of missing people under the rubble caused by the artillery and aerial shelling of the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta.

Raising to 561 citizens including 139 children and 83 women, the number of the civilian casualties who have been killed by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling and bombardment by explosive barrels on the Eastern Ghouta, since Sunday evening the 18th of February 2018, and the casualties are: 22 citizens including 7 children and 4 women who were killed on Monday in the aerial and rocket shelling on Douma and Harasta, 14 citizens including 4 children under the age of eighteen and 3 women were killed today, Sunday, in shelling by the regime forces and bombardment by warplanes on areas in Douma, al-Shifonyyah, Saqba, Beit Sawa, Hammuriyyeh and al-Rihan, and 45 citizens including 8 children under the age of eighteen, and 9 women were killed on Saturday by bombardment by warplanes on Harasta, Douma, Zamalka, Beit Sawa and Al-Shifonyyah, 43 citizens including 18 children and 4 women were killed on Friday, 73 citizens including 9 children and 8 citizen women who were killed on Thursday in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Mesraba and Aftries towns and Douma and Arbin cities, 87 citizens including 21 children and 12 women, were killed on Wednesday in bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels on Kafr Batna town and airstrikes on Jesrin town and raids on Saqba, 133 citizens including 33 children and 17 women were killed on Tuesday, in the shelling on the areas of Nashabiyah, Otaya, Arbin, Zamalka Mesraba, Hamuriya, Saqba and Ash’ari, 127 citizens including 34 children and 23 women were killed on Monday, in the aerial and ground bombardment on Hamuriya, Beit Sawa and Saqba, Douma , Mesraba, Otaya, Nashabiyah, Zamalka, Aftries, KafrBatna, Al-Shifonyyah and Jesrin, 17 citizens including 5 children and 3 women were killed on the evening of Sunday, while the aerial and artillery shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of injuries, some of them are still in serious cases, which may raise the death toll.
