Continuous clashes in the Syrian north within the abolition war between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and factions of the area

The abolition war continues between the major factions of the Syrian north, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes between both parties this afternoon in the vicinity of the towns of al-Bara, Marian Ihsim and Kansafra, in a renewed attempt by Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Soqur al-Sham to control the area and expel Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham of it; as happened in several other areas, amid exchange of shelling between both parties of mortar shells and injuries among the civilians as a result of the clashes between them, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the violent clashes are continuing within the abolition war between the major factions in the Syrian North in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today morning, violent clashes taking place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement and Suqour Al-Sham, in areas in Al-Ftireh, Al-Mozra, Hazarin, Hass, Kafr Nubl, Arnabah, Sfuhen, and other areas in Jabal Al-Zawiya in attack by Ahrar Al-Sham and Suqour Al-Sham on the area, in order to advance in it and snatch the control of it from Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and the clashes are accompanied with exchange of targeting and shelling between the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory learned that Ahrar Al-Sham managed to advance and take the control of the villages of Arnabah, Sfuhen, Ayn La Rose, Al-Ftireh and Al-Mozra, and in the western section of Aleppo countryside, violent clashes took place after the midnight of Friday – Saturday, between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in the vicinity of Darat Izza, in an attack carried out by Tahrir Al-Sham on the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the war of abolition is still ongoing between the major factions of the Syrian north operating in the western part of Aleppo countryside and Idlib province, where the SOHR obtained a copy of a video showing a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, called “Abu Al-Yaqazan Al-Masri”, a commander of the rebel attack of Tahrir Al-Sham, while he was delivering a speech to a group of fighters of the Hayyaat during the fighting  and saying that “O, People of Al-Sham, Allah has honored you to witness the fighting against the Americans, the Russians, the apostates of Bashar Army, those who spread corruption in the lands, the Khawarij, and the corrupts. The end is near and the ranks are becoming clear, and the fighting will continue until this area turns back to a battlefield against the infidels. Noor Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement didn’t open a new battlefront and it sent 40 fighters to a position in Skaik area, but they withdrew after 10 days. The weapons were obtained to be used in Jihad and kept stored for a year and will come out to be used in Jihad, tanks, tracked vehicles, warehouses of Ahrar Al-Sham became under our control and the Jihad in the Levant is a faith, don’t lose it”. This speech came in conjunction with repel attacks by Tahrir Al-Sham, through which they managed to control at least 25 villages, areas and towns with the support of the Islamic Turkestan Party in the northern countryside of Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo.

The SOHR monitored the withdrawal of a convoy of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham from the village of Al-Jinah in the western countryside of Aleppo, following local protests against the Hayyaat, forcing the convoy to withdraw from the village, where the protestors demanded to keep the village away from fighting, and dignitaries of the villages of Kafrtal and Tadil in the western countryside with the western countryside of Aleppo, agreed with Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham to keep the 2 villages away from fighting, and these protests came in conjunction with protests of citizens in Al-Atareb town against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham which is mobilizing to attack on the town controlled by the factions in the same countryside. The cities of Idlib and Ma’arrat Al-No’aman and the town of Kafrnebbul in the countryside of Idlib witnessed protests to support Al-Atareb against the aggression of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham on Friday the protestors called “Al-Joulani is the enemy of the revolution”.

Meanwhile, Kfarhaya area and areas in Maryan area in the southern countryside of Idlib witnessed clashes taking place between the fighters of Soqur Al-Sham against Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, following an attack by Tahrir Al-Sham to control the area, causing human losses in the ranks of both parties, while dead bodies of 5 fighters were found near Al-Tawamah area in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the locals accused the fighters of Tahrir Al-Sham of killing them during the clashes, increasing to 223 fighters at least of the conflicting parties in Idlib and Aleppo, where 132 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, and 91 fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far, where a child was killed in fire shooting in the western countryside of Aleppo, and thus the SOHR documented since the start of fighting on the 20th of February 2018, the death of 18 citizens including 7 children and 5 women, as a result of shelling and random shootings in the countryside of both Aleppo and Idlib, while it is worth mentioning that Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham lost at the noon of Tuesday the 27th of 2018 their presence in the western countryside of Aleppo, where they withdrew from the Regiment 46, the first and second countryside of Al-Mohandessin, Tadil, Sheikh Ali, Kafr Halab, Kafr Nasih, Kafr Karmin, Al-Tawameh, Al-Sahara, Kafrnaha, Khan Al-Asal, Al-Muhamiyyin countryside, after they withdrew yesterday from Darat Izza, Taqad, Batabu, Qalaat Sam’an, Jabal Sheikh Barakat, Kafr Nasih, Basratun, Uwayjil and other areas in the western countryside of Aleppo, thus, the presence of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was completely end in the western countryside of Aleppo, and almost completely in Aleppo province, where the presence of Tahrir Al-Sham is confined to local fighters in the southern countryside of Aleppo of the people of the area, located in areas in the southern countryside of the province.
