Tens of trucks carrying humanitarian aid enter the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus within the first UN convoy to the besieged area

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of the UN humanitarian aid convoy, to the besieged Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, which includes more than 45 trucks, carrying humanitarian and alimentary aid, where intersected sources confirmed that the convoy which entered through Al-Wafideen crossing, headed to the northern section of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, to be distributed after unloading, to the other areas of the Eastern Ghouta, and the entry of this convoy comes 9 days after the UNSC resolution about a “truce” in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and after the death and the injury of hundreds of citizens of the Eastern Ghouta since the 25th of February 2018.
