The warplanes and helicopters bomb 6 cities and towns in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus during the validity of Putin’s truce leaving more than 20 casualties and wounded
Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the bombardment is still continuing on the Eastern Ghouta, despite Putin’s “humanitarian” truce which starts every day at 9 am and end at 2 pm, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the warplanes carried out a raid targeting areas in Hamouriyah city by 4 missiles, which injured 10 citizens, also the helicopters bombed areas in Mesraba town by explosive barrels in conjunction with 4 raids which targeted areas in the town, while the warplanes targeted Harasta city by 2 raids, while they targeted Madyara town by a raid, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a child girl died affected by the injury she had as a result of the raids targeted Hazza town today the 6th of March 2018, during the time of the truce’s validity, and the SOHR has monitored since the truce came into effect that the warplanes carried out 3 raids on Douma city, in conjunction with bombardment by helicopters by 2 explosive barrels on areas in Al-Ash’ari town, as well as bombardment by helicopters by 2 explosive barrels on Beit Sawa town, where 7 citizens injured in Hazza town.
Raising to 791, the number of Syrian civilians who were killed in the Eastern Ghouta, including 175 children and 106 women, who have been killed by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, and the shelling during this period which completed 2 weeks since it started, resulted in the injury of about 3965 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 259 casualties including 38 children and 30 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
