The provinces of Aleppo and Idlib witness a continuation of the abolition war that started with the beginning of the regime’s violent shelling on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus preparing for land advancement into it

More than 325 citizens and fighters of Tahrir Al-Sham, Ahrar Al-Sham, Suqour Al-Sham and al-Zenki Movement were killed during 16 days of bloody fighting

16 consecutive days passed, and the fighting has been still continuing in both Aleppo and Idlib, between the major faction of the Syrian North, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the start of this fighting as an abolition war, during which each party is trying to end the existence of the other in the western countryside of Aleppo and the countryside of Idlib province, which raged the resentment of the citizens in the clash areas and in all of the factions’ controlled areas in both Aleppo and Idlib countryside, this fighting which started on the 20th of February 2018, 2 days after the regime escalated its shelling on the Eastern Ghouta which was as a preparation by firearm for a land battle aims to end the presence of Jaysh Al-Islam, Al-Rahman Corps, Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the circle of the fighting between the both parties has expanded, and the clashes turned from expelling Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and its withdrawals from the villages one after the other, into restoring a part of what Tahrir Al-Sham lost in the western section of Aleppo countryside, and in the northern and southern countryside of Idlib, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham restored the first and second countryside of Al-Mohandessin, Al-Atibaa countryside, Skeikh Ali, the Regiment 46, Tadil, Ajil, Urum al-Sughrah, Taqad, Kafr Nuran, Al-Tawameh, Kafr Karmin, Kafrnaha checkpoint, Maarat Al-Na’san, Miznaz, Al-Qanater checkpoint, they also managed to restore the areas of Zardana, Ram Hamdan, Hizreh, Kafr Yahmoule, Maarrat Misrin, Turmanin, Taladah, Deir Hassan, Qah, Kafrluseen, Aqrabat and Atma, while this ongoing fighting which is coinciding with the violent clashes in the eastern Ghouta in Rif Dimashq, resulted in the fall of more casualties, where it has increased to 253, the number of people killed in the ranks of the conflicting parties and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, where 178 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, and 129 fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far, while the SOHR documented since the start of fighting on the 20th of February 2018, the death of 18 citizens including 7 children and 5 women, as a result of shelling and random shootings in the countryside of both Aleppo and Idlib.

And the SOHR obtained a copy of a video showing a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, called “Abu Al-Yaqazan Al-Masri”, a commander of the rebel attack of Tahrir Al-Sham, while he was delivering a speech to a group of fighters of the Hayyaat during the fighting  and saying that “O, People of Al-Sham, Allah has honored you to witness the fighting against the Americans, the Russians, the apostates of Bashar Army, those who spread corruption in the lands, the Khawarij, and the corrupts. The end is near and the ranks are becoming clear, and the fighting will continue until this area turns back to a battlefield against the infidels. Noor Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement didn’t open a new battlefront and it sent 40 fighters to a position in Skaik area, but they withdrew after 10 days. The weapons were obtained to be used in Jihad and kept stored for a year and will come out to be used in Jihad, tanks, tracked vehicles, warehouses of Ahrar Al-Sham became under our control and the Jihad in the Levant is a faith, don’t lose it”.
