Shelling targets the center of the capital Damascus, its outskirts and suburbs leaves more causalities
Consecutive explosions took place in the center and outskirts of the capital Damascus and its nearby suburbs, resulted from shelling, where the SOHR monitored fall of shells on areas in Old Damascus, Bab Al-Salam, Bab Touma, Bab Sharqi, al-Dawila, Al-Abasyeen, Al-Shaghour, Al-Zablatany and areas in Barza neighborhood and Aish Al-Warar and Jermana district, resulting in the death of a woman and the injury of 5 others with different severity, rising to at least 137 including 21 children and 18 women, the number of those killed as result of shells since the beginning of escalation in the capital Damascus and its subrubs on the 16th of November, and the SOHR documented more than 728 persons who were injured in these daily clashes within more than 3 consecutive months, including tens of children and women, and some of them are suffering serious injuries, and the SOHR monitored the ongoing bad medical conditions of some injured, which may increase the death toll.
