Factions operating in Hama and Uzbek fighters continue their attack in the north with intensive airstrikes and ground shelling target Hama countryside

Hama Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent clashes are taking place in areas in Hammamiyyat, Zellin, Karnaz, Bridij, Al-Mughayr and other areas in the northern and the north-western countryside of Hama, between the rebel and Islamic factions and Uzbek fighters against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, as a result of an attack carried out by the former within a battle they called the “Wrath for Ghouta” in order to advance and take the control of the positions of the regime in the area, where the factions of “Jaysh al-Izza, Ahrar Al-Sham, Jaysh Al-Ahrar, the Regiment 111, the Salvation Front, Jaysh Al-Shaab, the Second Army, Uzbek fighters and other factions”, started a violent prelude in the early morning by tens of rocket strikes and shells, to start later to carry out their attacks, and the clashes ongoing now, are accompanied by intensive bombardment by warplanes in addition to violent and exchange of rocket shelling between the both parties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the factions managed to advance and take the control of the northern neighborhood of Karnaz and most of Hammamiyyat area, and the clashes and the exchange of shelling resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties.

In the same context, warplanes and helicopters escalated their targeting by raids and explosive barrels to areas in the towns and the villages of Kafr Zita, Lataminah, Al-Arba’in, Al-Sakhar, Kafr Nabudah, Al-Jaysat, , Al-Zakah, Hasaraya and Qalaat al-Madiq in the northern and the north-western countryside of Hama, in addition to intensive rocket shelling targeted the areas mentioned above as well as other areas in the villages of Al-Amaqiyyah, Duqmaq, Zayzun and Bab Taqah in Sahl Al-Ghab, and this aerial and rocket shelling resulted in the fall of wounded, in addition to the death of 3 citizens including 2 children at least in Qalaat al-Madiq, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
