More causalities as result of targeting areas in the capital Damascus and its outskirts

Damascus province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: sounds of explosion were heard in the capital Damascus, resulted from the fall of several mortar shells on places in Al-Bahsa area and the streets of Al-Thawra and Al-Mohafza in the center of the capital, shells also fell on Jisr Victoria area and Barza and other area in the eastern part of the capital, causing material damage, and resulted in the death of a citizen and fall of 10 people injured, rising to at least 138 including 21 children and 18 women, the number of those killed as result of shells since the beginning of escalation on the capital Damascus and its suburbs, on the 16th of November. The SOHR documented the injury of more than 740 persons who were injured in the daily targeting during more than 3 consecutive months, including tens of children and women, and some of them were severely inured and permanently suffering from disabilities. The SOHR also monitored the ongoing bad medical condition of some injured people, which may increase the death toll.
