The fighting in Deir Ezzor desert continues leaving 14 casualties at least of the armed militiamen loyal to the regime

The violent clashes continued in areas in the south-eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor city and areas in Homs desert adjacent the administrative border of Deir Ezzor, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” organization, in an ongoing attack carried out by the latter, near the second station (T2), while the warplanes carried out strikes which targeted the clash areas, in addition to exchange of targeting between the both parties, which resulted in the fall of more casualties and wounded in the ranks of the both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 14 members at least of the armed militiamen loyal to the regime of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, while confirmed information received about the death of members of the organization, in addition to the injury of others with varying severity, as the organization is trying to impose its control over the area and result in the fall of the largest possible number of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them.
