The death of 19 citizens at least in the enclave of Al-Rahman Corps raise to more than 1560 the number of casualties since the start of escalating the aerial and ground shelling on the Eastern Ghouta
In conjunction with the start of the entry of the buses to Harasta city and getting up the fighters and the citizens who refused the agreement between Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement and the regime forces, to be transferred to the Syrian North, Al-Rahman Corps’ controlled areas in the south-western enclave of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, witnessed bombardment, where warplanes targeted areas in Zamalka city by more than 15 raids, in conjunction with bombardment on several areas in Arbin and Ein Tarma, which resulted in the fall of casualties and wounded, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 19 citizens they are: 3 casualties in Arbin and the rest are in Zamalka city, as well as the injury of 40 others with varying severity, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, and this bombardment is coincided with the ongoing clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Al-Rahman Corps, in areas in the south of Ein Tarma town, where the regime forces managed to advance and take the control of most of the southern farms of Ein Tarma town advancing into the outskirts of the town, amid exchange of targeting on the clash areas between the both parties.
And with the death of more citizens, it rose to 1563, the number of the Syrian civilians whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory in the Eastern Ghouta, including 316 children and 193 women, who have been killed since the 18th of February 2018, by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 5370 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 1031 casualties including 175 children and 110 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
