After displacing its inhabitants towards north, the regime robs Harasta city in the Eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that Harasta city of, which the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-Sham has left along with thousands of civilians towards Idlib Province in the Syrian north during the past 24 hours; has witnessed looting operations carried out by members of the gunmen loyal to the regime forces as well as members of the regime forces, where property of the citizens which remained in their homes were looted, also the contents of public utilities and headquarters were looted, reliable sources monitored the transport of the stolen things from Harasta to the outskirts of the capital of Damascus which is under the control of the regime forces, after the looting that took place in other areas to which the regime forces have entered and controlled in the Eastern Ghouta, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that it learned that members of the militiamen loyal to the regime forces and other members of the regime forces looted the properties of citizens in areas, recently controlled by the regime forces since the 25th of February 2018, and sources stressed that the looting of properties of citizens took place in houses, shops, cars and vehicles belong to the citizens, in addition to the looting of properties and military premises of areas controlled by the regime forces and militiamen allied to them under the command of Russian officers and advisers, which reached more than 90.5% of the factions’ controlled areas in the Eastern Ghouta, in addition to the death and injury of thousands, where the Syrian observatory published hours ago that it rose to 1644, the number of the Syrian civilians whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory in the Eastern Ghouta, including 344 children and 213 women, who have been killed since the 18th of February 2018, by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 5420 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 1112 casualties including 203 children and 130 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
