In conjunction with the looting and arresting, the regime forces execute 5 citizens and kidnap 2 of their wives in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus
The regime forces haven’t had enough with the looting of the Eastern Ghouta, which have been ongoing since the beginning of the regime’s control over the areas that reached more than 90.5% of the area of the Eastern Ghouta. The citizens were executed in the past week. The regime forces also kindapped 2 women and took them to unknown destination. These 2 women are the wives of 2 of the farmers, who were executed, and it is still unknown if these two women were executed or detained in the regime’s prisons.
These executions and kidnapping, in addition to the arresting of 18 citizens from Kafrbatna and Saqa towns by the People’s Committee of the regime forces escalated the fears for the lives of civilians remained in the areas which have become under the control of the regime forces in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, whose numbers reached 37 thousand civilians, in conjunction with the fears for the lives of more than 97 thousand civilians who left the areas controlled by the Islamic factions in Douma, Harasta and the areas controlled by Al-Rahman Corps, towards the areas controlled by the regime forces, where this is accompanied with humiliation against the displaced people towards the areas controlled by the regime forces, where a video received yesterday by the Observatory show Mohamed Qanbad, the members of the People’s Assembly, while he was disturbing water to the displaced people from the Eastern Ghouta in a gathering point of them, as he and a member of the regime forces were forcing them to chant “our president is Bashar Al-Assad, Down with Saudi Arabia, Syria is winning under the command of the President Bashar al-Assad”, where he was distributing water bottles to the displaced people in exchange for chanting these words, amid fears of violations by the regime against these civilians in the coming days, where there is no restrictions to the members stationed to supervise the gathering of citizens, after the SOHR published last Monday that it learned that members of the militiamen loyal to the regime forces and other members of the regime forces looted the properties of citizens in areas, recently controlled by the regime forces since the 25th of February 2018, and sources stressed that the looting of properties of citizens took place in houses, shops, cars and vehicles belong to the citizens, in addition to the looting of properties and military premises of areas controlled by the regime forces and militiamen allied to them under the command of Russian officers and advisers.
The SOHR published on yesterday Sunday noon that the continuation of the displacement of citizens from the Eastern Ghouta raised the number of people displaced to the regime’s controlled areas, the people stayed in the Eastern Ghouta within the areas the regime forces advanced into, and the people left to the Syrian North from Harasta city and the controlled areas of Al-Rahman Corps and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where it has increased to about 140 thousand people of who left through to the destinations mentioned above since Thursday the 15th of March 2018, and in the details documented by the SOHR; the number of people left through crossings towards the regime’s controlled areas reached more than 97 thousand citizens, while 37 thousand citizens at least stayed in the towns of Kafr Batna, Ein Tarma and Saqba which the regime forces controlled, while about 6000 people have left towards the Syrian North from Harasta city which used to be controlled by Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement, and the areas of Jobar, Arbin and Zamalka controlled by Al-Rahman Corps.
