Preparations underway for completing the fifth batch of displaced people within the Jobar – Zamalka – Arbin agreement

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions were heard again in Douma area, sources said that they were caused by shelling by the regime forces on places in Douma area which is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam, which is undergoing negotiations about reaching an agreement provides for the departure of those reject the agreement of fighters and citizens from Douma city to the Eastern Qalamoun, and the entry of the Russian military police to Douma city and establish headquarters and posts in it, and the stay of those who agree to the agreement inside the city, on condition that the official departments affiliated to the regime return to work in Douma city.

In the same context, it is expected in the next few hours for the 5th batch of displaced people to depart from the Eastern Ghouta to the Syrian north, where the buses that still within Arbin city are continuing the boarding of civilians, and the batch will depart as soon as it is completed, while hundreds of civilians from Douma city have gotten out in the past few hours to regime forces’ controlled areas, in a continuation for of the civilians’ exit process from the city that is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam towards areas controlled by the regime forces, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored until Wednesday morning the displacement of about 163 thousand persons from the Eastern Ghouta, towards the Syrian North and the regime’s controlled areas, including people stayed in the areas that the regime forces controlled within the Eastern Ghouta, in the enclave controlled by Al-Rahman Corps. And in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the number of people got out through the crossings towards the regime’s controlled areas exceeded 101 thousand citizens, while 37 thousand citizens at least stayed in the towns of Kafr Batna, Ein Tarma and Saqba which the regime forces controlled, also about 25 thousand  persons have displaced to the Syrian North they are: 5 thousand persons have displaced to the Syrian North from Harasta city which used to be controlled by Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement, and about 20 thousand persons of who have displaced from Zamalka, Arbin and Jobar controlled by Al-Rahman Corps to the Syrian North.
