The eighth and final displaced people batch of the middle sector is on its way to Qal’aat al-Madiq, and negotiations continue about Douma between the Russians and Jaysh al-Islam
Negotiations continue about Douma area between Jaysh al-Islam and the Russians, where negotiations aim to reach a conclusion for the outstanding points as well as reaching a final agreement with regard to the stronghold and the last city controlled by Jaysh al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, and the destination of more than 60000 fighters, their families and other civilians wishing to leave Douma; is one of the most outstanding points that still prevent reaching a final agreement, in the same context, it is expected in the next few hours for the eighth and final batch of the displaced people of the middle sector of the Eastern Ghouta to reach Qal’aat al-Madiq northwest of Hama.
The Syrian Observatory published on morning of today, Saturday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the military reinforcements of material and weapons brought by the regime forces are continuing to arrive, in the frame of the continuation of the circle imposed on Douma city, in conjunction with the continuation of the negotiations between the Russian side with Jaysh Al-Islam, in order to reach a final agreement about Douma city which is the stronghold and the last area controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that this mobilizations of the regime forces come as a part of a preparation for an expected military operation, in the case of collapsing the negotiations about Douma which reached advanced stages, despite the continued rejection of the group of Abu Abd Al-Rahman Kaaka the general legitimate official of Jaysh Al-Islam, in addition to the end of the displacement of the central part of the Eastern Ghouta towards the Syrian North.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights called on the residents of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, to stay in their cities and towns, after the displacement of tens of thousands of people from the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in conjunction with killing and injuring more than 7000 citizens in 34 successive days by the regime forces and Russia by the aerial, rocket and artillery strikes, on condition that the UN completely secure their stay, and provide guarantees that prevent the implementation of the Turkish-Russian agreement, leads to a simultaneous demographic change in both Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and Afrin, that the Russian occupation forces have to secure the area from mines and planted and unexploded bombs, to ensure the safety of the people in order to preserve their lives and for fear of the death of more citizens in the Eastern Ghouta which witnessed killing in all forms from killing by shells until the death due to starvation and disease.
