In conjunction with the ongoing negotiations to reach a final agreement in it… Douma city witnesses a conclusion of another partial agreement about the exit of hundreds of people to the Syrian North
Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that there is no truth about reaching a final agreement until now between Jaysh Al-Islam and the Russian side with regard to Douma city which is the last town controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, where the negotiations are still continuing between the both parties to reach a conclusion for the outstanding points that prevent reaching a final agreement, as there are many destinations put forward to depart towards them, while the rejection of the group of Abu Abd Al-Rahman Ka’aka the general legitimate official of Jaysh Al-Islam is continuing to the solutions put forward by the Russians, and the destination of more than 60000 fighters, their families and other civilians wishing to leave Douma; is one of the most outstanding points that still prevent reaching a final agreement, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it was agreed to displace about 1300 citizens including activists as well as fighters of who want to leave towards the Syrian North through Al-Wafideen Camp, in the same context, two persons were killed as a result of the fall of a shell on an area in the outskirts of Douma after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Wednesday the 28th of March 2018, that a state of resentment in Douma city revealed by demonstration in which demonstrators went out calling for preventing more destruction to the city, through continuing the negotiations and reaching an agreement with the aforementioned terms in Douma city, and the citizens demanded on releasing their sons hold in the prisons and detention centers of Jaysh Al-Islam, and reliable sources stressed to the SOHR that several people were arrested in Douma city for making names list for thousands of civilians and former militants and activists to leave the Eastern Ghouta towards the Syrian north.
And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, Saturday, that it monitored that the military reinforcements of material and weapons brought by the regime forces are continuing to arrive, in the frame of the continuation of the circle imposed on Douma city, in conjunction with the continuation of the negotiations between the Russian side with Jaysh Al-Islam, in order to reach a final agreement about Douma city which is the stronghold and the last area controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that this mobilizations of the regime forces come as a part of a preparation for an expected military operation, in the case of collapsing the negotiations about Douma which reached advanced stages, despite the continued rejection of the group of Abu Abd Al-Rahman Kaaka the general legitimate official of Jaysh Al-Islam, in addition to the end of the displacement of the central part of the Eastern Ghouta towards the Syrian North.
And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights called on the residents of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, to stay in their cities and towns, after the displacement of tens of thousands of people from the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, in conjunction with killing and injuring more than 7000 citizens in 34 successive days by the regime forces and Russia by the aerial, rocket and artillery strikes, on condition that the UN completely secure their stay, and provide guarantees that prevent the implementation of the Turkish-Russian agreement, leads to a simultaneous demographic change in both Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and Afrin, that the Russian occupation forces have to secure the area from mines and planted and unexploded bombs, to ensure the safety of the people in order to preserve their lives and for fear of the death of more citizens in the Eastern Ghouta which witnessed killing in all forms from killing by shells until the death due to starvation and disease.
