The Turkish forces target a checkpoint of the Kurdish forces in the border triangle of Syria – Turkey – Iraq leaving injuries

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that explosions were heard today, Wednesday the 4th of April 2018, in Syria – Turkey – Iraq Border Triangle, in the far north-east of Al-Hasakah, caused by targeting by the Turkish forces to a checkpoint of the Kurdish Internal Security Forces (Asayish), in Kharab Rask area, near Simalka crossing which connects between Al-Hasakah province and Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where this targeting resulted in the fall of wounded in the ranks of Asayish Forces, while members of the Kurdish forces who are located in the area, targeted positions of the Turkish forces in the other side of the border.

The Syrian – Turkish border has witnessed escalation of the Turkish deliberate targeting since the start of Operation “Olive Branch” in Afrin area on the 20th of January 2018, to the positions of Kurdish forces, the Internal Security Forces and the border forces, along the Syrian – Turkish border of the border triangle of Syria – Turkey – Iraq, up to the Euphrates River.
