As a part of its ongoing activity on the Syrian territory… ISIS attacks positions of the regime forces and their allies in Homs Desert and the far east of Deir Ezzor

The organization’s activity is continuing on the Syrian territory, within the areas where it is still presented, and in the areas which it is able to reach through groups, that tend to carry out attacks aiming to inflict the largest possible number of human losses in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the “Islamic State” organization started new attacks, targeting this time Al-Alyaniyah area which is located in the south-eastern desert of Homs, and near Al-Qaryatayn area, where the violent clashes are still continuing between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in areas in Al-Alyaniyah area south of Palmyra in the Syrian Desert, and the violent clashes and fighting were accompanied by the sound of violent explosions on the clash areas, caused by exchange of intensive shelling between the both parties, and confirmed information about casualties and wounded in the ranks of the both parties.

This fighting in the south-eastern desert of Homs, accompanies the continuation of the fighting between the organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in areas in the south-eastern desert of Deir Ezzor, within ISIS attacks to expand their scope of control, after it was confined in scattered enclaves in several areas in the south of Al-Hasakah, Deir Ezzor countryside, the south of Damascus and Homs Desert, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Tuesday, that it has increased to 204 at least, the number of members of the regime and their allies who were killed during 22 days of clashes in al-Bokamal, the countryside of Deir Ezzor and south of the capital Damascus, also it rose to 69 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in the same battles, since the recovery of the Organization in the 13th of March 2018, also tens of others of both parties were killed and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, as well as the presence of missing people and captives in the ranks of the both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during Monday night, that members of the organization have infiltrated via Euphrates River into al-Bokamal city, in which violent clashes are taking place against the regime forces and their allies, in an attempt by ISIS to inflict the largest possible casualties and control the area, the clashes are taking place in the neighborhood along the river, also the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that it monitored new developments in the aforementioned area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that military reinforcements have arrived to locations of the regime forces from two main destinations, where reinforcements of the pro-regime Iraqi gunmen have arrived to the west of Euphrates in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, coincided with the arrival of hundreds of members of regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities to the same area, in order to strengthen the presence of the regime against the “Islamic State” Organization, of which the sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have confirmed that it is preparing to carry out a massive military operation against the regime forces and their allies in the west of Euphrates, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources that about 400 fighter of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, have crossed from the enclave east Euphrates -which is surrounded by the Syria Democratic Forces who are supported by the International Coalition- to the west of Euphrates River in the form of groups, where they are crossing from al-Shafa area, after intense shelling by the “Islamic State” Organization on areas controlled by the regime and its loyal gunmen west of Euphrates River.
