About 3000 persons left Douma in 72 hours of displacement towards areas controlled by the “Euphrates Shield” forces in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo
Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the first convoy of the 3rd batch of the displaced people of Douma controlled by Jaysh Al-Islam in Douma in the Eastern Ghouta, which departed yesterday evening from the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, has reached the crossing between the regime’s controlled areas and the areas controlled by the factions operating within the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, while the second convoy of this batch is expected to arrive in the next few hours, where it includes several buses carrying about 650 persons heading to al-Bab and Jarabulus areas in the north-east of Aleppo, where the both convoys departed yesterday separately and successively, and two other convoys arrived on Wednesday and Tuesday in Al-Bab area, which is controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions operating within the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, where the both batches included about 2350 persons aboard, raising to about 3000, the number of people displaced from Douma in 72 consecutive hours.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday, that it obtained information from several reliable sources about reaching an agreement between Jaish Al-Islam and the regime authorities, by Russian mediation and full Russian guarantee. In the details obtained by the SOHR that the unannounced agreement based on middle ground between the regime authorities and Jaish Al-Islam with Russian mediation and guarantee. The agreement provide for the departure of the fighters and civilians refusing the first and second agreement to the areas of Al-Bab and Jarabulus in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, the regime authorities shall work on reconstructing the infrastructure, educational and governmental and services institutions in the city of Douma, re-issuing documented for all those who lost their official documents through the regime institutions, returning all students to schools after holding tests to joining different grades to resume their education, while the regime authorities are working on settling the situations of the fighters after completely handing over the weapons and civilians with full Russian guarantee, while the compulsory military recruitment for the young men will be postponed for 6 to 10 months, the police of the regime will enter Douma during the reconstruction process with the guarantee of the Russian military police, Douma will also be provided by transportation, trade and other necessary services.
