Morning targeting to the capital Damascus by shells leaves about 25 casualties and wounded and raises to about 65 the number of people killed and injured by shells in 24 hours

Successive explosions rocked today morning, Saturday the 7th of April 2018, for the second consecutive day, areas in the capital Damascus and its outskirts, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of about 15 shells since morning on the areas of Al-Sha’lan, Al-Rummanah, Jesr al-Ra’eis, the vicinity of al-Omawiyyin Square and Esh Al-Warawar neighborhood in the outskirts of Barzeh, which caused material damage, and the death of 2 persons including a child girl, while at leas 22 others were injured with varying severity, which may raise the death toll, raising to 10 including 2 children and a woman at least, the number of people killed since yesterday in the capital Damascus, while the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of about 55 injuries, some of them have seriously wounded.

Thus it has increased to 206 persons including 29 children and 26 women, the number of people killed as result of fall of shells, and the SOHR documented more than 873 persons who were injured in the daily targeting in more than 4 consecutive months, including tens of children and women, and some of them are in serious conditions and suffer permanent disabilities, and the SOHR monitored the ongoing bad medical conditions of some injured, which may increase the death toll.
