The International Coalition brings reinforcement to its position in conjunction with the visit of a Western delegation to the city amid warplanes flying in the sky of the area
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored warplanes flying in the sky of Manbij city and its countryside in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo countryside, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human, the warplanes of the International Coalition are flying in the sky of Manbij area, in conjunction with the visit of a delegation from a western country to the city. Clashes took place at the contact lines between areas controlled by the International Coalition and Manbij Military Council against the rebel and Islamic factions operating in “Shield of Euphrates” Operation force and the Turkish forces. The international coalition reinforced its deployment in the area and supported its presence and position in Manbij area, located west of the Euphrates River. Sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that reinforcement of vehicles, equipment and soldiers of the International Coalition were brought to the area.
Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 1st of April 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources that reinforcements continue to reach the Coalition Forces in Manbij area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that reinforcements of weapons and equipment have arrived to the Coalition Forces, which are continue to be deployed on the contact lines with “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces and the Turkish forces in the northeastern sector of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the majority of Coalition Forces deployed in the area are of the US and French forces.
The SOHR published yesterday Friday the 30th of March that Manbij city has been still witnessing alertness by International Coalition forces and the forces of Manbij Military Council since the midnight of Thursday – Friday, in the wake of the explosion which rocked the city, at the midnight of Thursday – Friday, in Manbij area in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, caused by explosion targeted soldiers of International Coalition forces in Manbij city controlled by the forces of Manbij Military Council and American forces, and the targeting resulted in the death of 2 members of the International Coalition and the injury of 9 other persons with varying severity, including 4 members of by the forces of Manbij Military Council, while the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
