The fighting renews in the western sector of Aleppo countryside amid silence prevailing the battle fronts in Idlib countryside after the advancement achieved by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham yesterday

Areas in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, witness the break out of renewed clashes between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement against Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in areas in the villages of Sadiyeh, Uwayjil, Ajil, Anjara and other areas in the western countryside of Aleppo, amid exchange of targeting between the both parties in the clash areas, in an attempt by each party to advance at the expense of the other, while cautious calm has been prevailing the clash areas in Idlib province between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement and Suqour Al-Sham Brigades, since last night, after violent clashes took place yesterday which witnessed exchange of control in several positions and left casualties, where the SOHR published yesterday that clashes continue between the major northern factions at the southern part of Idlib countryside, where the SOHR monitored an attack by Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham on Al-Habit town and Abdeen villages in an attempt to expand their control at the expense of Ahrar Al-Sham Movement and other factions operating in the area, where the SOHR documented an attack by Ahrar Al-Sham Movement on Tel A’as area and Um Zaytona and southern of Marat Al-Noaman and Basida area, where Ahrar Al-Sham managed to advance and control Tel A’as and Um Zaytona, amid an advancement in Basida area, amid information about more casualties as result of violent clashes and exchange of shelling between both parties.

 

The SOHR also published yesterday that the pace of fighting has become relatively calm and sometimes intercepted by an exchange of shelling and skirmishes between Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand and the rebel and Islamic faction on the other in the southern part of Idlib countryside and the northern countryside of Hama, Relative calms returns after the fall of causalities of civilians and in both ranks, as result of fighting between them, where the SOHR documented that the death toll has increased in the ranks of the factions fighting within the abolition war as well as the civilians, where the SOHR documented the death of 25 citizens including 8 children and 5 women, who have been killed since the start of the fighting on the 20th of February 2018, as a result of shelling and random shootings in the countryside of both Aleppo and Idlib, and the SOHR also documented that 207 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, and 154 fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far.

 

The SOHR monitored that the factions of Ahrar Al-Sham Movement, Sukor Al-Sham and other factions in Marat Al-Noman area in the southern part of Idlib countryside managed to forces Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham to withdraw from the area. Reliable sources sad that hundreds of fighters of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, who were staying in their houses and stopped fighting contributed to the rapid advancement of Hayata Tahrir Al-Sham in the southern part of Idlib countryside till they reached Mork town and the crossing towards the regime-held area, where the Hayaat Tahrir Al-sham hold their control in areas they advanced to and included Khan Shaykhon and villages and towns of Sahyan, Heesh, Kafr Ain, Tel A’as, Moka, Al-Amiriya, Marat Matr, Sheik Dams, Kafrsajna, Rakaya Sajna, Jebala, Ma’arzita, and other points in the southern countryside of Idlib.
