The regime forces shell areas in the Eastern Qalamoun more than 24 hours after the break out of clashes on the border with Homs Desert

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces targeted areas in the mountains of the Eastern Qalamoun in the eastern Rif Dimashq, in conjunction with carrying out several raids by warplanes on places in the area, without information about casualties so far, and the SOHR published yesterday that explosions were heard in the eastern Qalamoun area, intersected sources said that they were caused by warplanes’ bombardment on the area, which causing material damage but no information about casualties, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the break out of violent clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against rebel factions operating in the Eastern Qalamoun, where the clashes are taking place in Al-Mahsaa area on the administrative boarder between the Eastern Qalamoun and Homs Desert, as a result of an attack by the factions on the area, where they managed to take the control of positions on the line between them and the regime forces, as well as other positions used to be controlled by the regime forces, while the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, and information about confirmed human losses in the ranks of the both parties, where these clashes are coincided with negotiations between representatives of the Eastern Qalamoun with representatives of the Russian side, about a new agreement about the Eastern Qalamoun, leads to the displacement of all of those reject the agreement between the both parties, towards a destination that has not been decided yet, and to “settle the situations” of those will remain, and it is expected that the final agreement will be reached with the continuation of the negotiations during the next hours and days, about the area where Jaysh Al-Islam, the forces of Ahmad al-Abdu, Jaysh Tahrir Al-Sham and other factions operating under the unified command in the Eastern Qalamoun, are located.
