Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement attacks Tahrir Al-Sham in the western sector of Aleppo advancing in the area amid exchange of shelling accompanies the fighting between the both parties
Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the violent fighting within the abolition war between the major factions of the Syrian Norht, where violent clashes have been taking place since this morning, Sunday the 22nd of April 2018, between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in areas in the western countryside of Aleppo city, as a result of a violent attack by al-Zenki Movement on positions of Tahrir al-Sham, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement managed to achieve advancement and take the control of Ajil town and Taqad village, while the clashes are continuing in the vicinity of the both areas along with clashes between them in Basratun area, and the violent clashes are accompanied by intensive shelling and targeting by heavy and medium weapons, amid resentment by locals and residents to this fighting that does not almost calm down until it irrupts again, and the SOHR learned that clashes resulted in the fall of large number of casualties in the ranks of the both parties.
While the clashes in the past few days resulted in the fall of more human losses in the ranks of the both parties, as a result of the fighting between them, where the SOHR documented that the death toll has increased in the ranks of the factions fighting within the abolition war as well as the civilians, where the SOHR documented that 217 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, also it has increased to 162, the number of fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, since the 20th of February 2018 until today, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far, while it has increased to 25 citizens including 8 children and 5 women, who have been killed since the start of the fighting on the 20th of February 2018, as a result of shelling and random shootings in the countryside of both Aleppo and Idlib.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the factions of Ahrar Al-Sham Movement, Sukor Al-Sham and other factions in Marat Al-Noman area in the southern part of Idlib countryside managed to force Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham to withdraw from the area. Reliable sources said that hundreds of fighters of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham, who were staying in their houses and stopped fighting contributed to the rapid advancement of Hayata Tahrir Al-Sham in the southern part of Idlib countryside till they reached Mork town and the crossing towards the regime-held area, where the Hayaat Tahrir Al-sham hold their control in areas they advanced to and included Khan Shaykhon and villages and towns of Sahyan, Heesh, Kafr Ain, Tel A’as, Moka, Al-Amiriya, Marat Matr, Sheik Dams, Kafrsajna, Rakaya Sajna, Jebala, Ma’arzita, and other points in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the SOHR obtained few weeks ago, a copy of a video showing a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, called “Abu Al-Yaqazan Al-Masri”, a commander of the rebel attack of Tahrir Al-Sham, while he was delivering a speech to a group of fighters of the Hayyaat during the fighting and saying that “O, People of Al-Sham, Allah has honored you to witness the fighting against the Americans, the Russians, the apostates of Bashar Army, those who spread corruption in the lands, the Khawarij, and the corrupts. The end is near and the ranks are becoming clear, and the fighting will continue until this area turns back to a battlefield against the infidels. Noor Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement didn’t open a new battlefront and it sent 40 fighters to a position in Skaik area, but they withdrew after 10 days. The weapons were obtained to be used in Jihad and kept stored for a year and will come out to be used in Jihad, tanks, tracked vehicles, warehouses of Ahrar Al-Sham became under our control and the Jihad in the Levant is a faith, don’t lose it”.
