Renewed bombardment targets the north of Homs after yesterday’s clashes and intensive shelling

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions were heard in the northern countryside of Homs, caused by bombardment by warplanes on areas in the villages of Al-Hamrat and Izz Al-Din as well as other areas in Salim village, near Homs – Salamiyah Highway, and no information about casualties was reported yet, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the northern countryside of Homs and the southeastern countryside of Hama witnessed violent clashes, between the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the areas of Salim, al-Humayrat and Qebbat al-Kerdy, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties, which caused more casualties in the ranks of them both and damaged vehicles of both parties, while the warplanes carried out more raids on areas in the countryside of Hama and Homs, raising to about 105, the number of raids that targeted the area since yesterday night until now, while the regime forces shelled villages and towns in the southern countryside of Homs and places in al-Houla area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored vehicles of the regime forces withdrawing from Taqsis area, while the SOHR published about two weeks ago, that the regime forces managed to take the control of Taqsis village and its mountain in the south-eastern countryside of Hama, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory; a column of the regime forces accompanied by a delegation that sources said that it included representatives of the Russian side, entered Taqsis, Al-Amarah, Jumaqliyah and other villages, where the regime forces held their presence in Taqsis and Al-Amarah which were free from any military presence, in conjunction with their entry to 2 other nearby villages in the area.
