The Eastern Qalamoun witnesses preparations for a new displaced people convoy in conjunction with the arrival of the 3rd convoy in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from a number of intersected sources, that the 3rd displaced people convoy of the towns of Jayrud, al-Atnah, Nasiriya and al-Rahiba in the Eastern Qalamoun, has arrived in its destination in the Syrian North, and the convoy that departed yesterday evening, includes a number of buses carrying hundreds of fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam and the forces of Ahmad al-Abd as well as their families and citizens who refuse the agreement between the representatives of the abovementioned towns and between the Russians and the regime, and the SOHR learned that the convoy has arrived in Al-Bab area in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, and it is expected to enter through the crossing between the regime forces’ controlled areas and the controlled areas of the factions operating within the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, while a new batch of buses is being prepared in the area of the Eastern Qalamoun, which will carry fighters with their families and citizens who refuse the agreement between the representatives of the area with the Russians and the regime and those who changed their decision about staying in it.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday morning, Monday the 22nd of April 2018, that the glass of some buses of the second convoy of people displaced from the 4 towns in the Eastern Qalamoun, was smashed by loyalists of the Syrian regime, while the convoy was passing through the countryside of Tartus and Hama, where displaced people aboard the convoy said that loyalists of the regime threw stones at a number of buses which smashed their glass, without information about injuries so far, this attack comes after a similar attack on the first convoy, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday morning, that displaced people of who were aboard the convoy informed the SOHR that the glass of some busses was smashed by loyalists to the regime at one of the checkpoints of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, while it was passing through Salamiyah area in Hama countryside, which resulted in the fall of wounded.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the arrival of the second convoy of the Eastern Qalamoun displaced people of fighters and citizens, in Qalaat al-Madiq in the north-west of Hama, before this dawn, where a bus exchange took place and the convoy resumed its way towards its final destination in Idlib province and the western sector of Aleppo countryside, and the convoy that departed yesterday evening from the Eastern Qalamoun, includes more than 30 buses and carries 1200 persons at least of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar Al-sham and families of the fighters, as well as other civilians who refused the agreement between the representatives of the towns of Jayrud, al-Atnah, Nasiriya, al-Rahiba, al-Sharqi Mountain and Batra Mountain and between the Russians and the regime, in the same context preparations area expected to be carried out this morning to bring out a new batch from the area including the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam and the forces of Ahmad al-Abd as well as citizens towards the Syrian North, where the batch that will leave the area today, is supposed to by the last one, while those who wants to have their situations settled, will stay, it is noteworthy that the first batch departed yesterday, Saturday, and included about 44 buses with hundreds of fighters, their families and civilians refuse the agreement.
