ISIS attacks the SDF near a US military base east of the Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the “Islamic State” organization carried out an attack during the last night, in the east of the Euphrates River, where violent clashes took place between members of the organization against the Syria Democratic Forces, in areas in the vicinity of the wells of Al-Omar Oilfield, where the organization attacked positions of the SDF, for hours then it withdraw to its positions located in the enclave remaining at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and information about human losses in the ranks of the both parties as a result of the clashes and exchange of targeting in the clash areas near Al-Omar Oilfield where US forces and International Coalition’s forces are located.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published few days ago, that it obtained information from several reliable sources that about 400 fighter of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, have crossed from the enclave east Euphrates -which is surrounded by the Syria Democratic Forces who are supported by the International Coalition- to the west of Euphrates River in the form of groups, where they are crossing from al-Shafa area, after intense shelling by the “Islamic State” Organization on areas controlled by the regime and its loyal gunmen west of Euphrates River, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published in early April 2018, that it monitored the continuation arrival of new vehicles to al-Omar oilfield since about 48 hours ago until now, and in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: tens of vehicles carrying on board materiel and equipment have arrived at the al-Omar oilfield, which is taken by the American forces as a military base in the east of Euphrates River.
