SDF bring military reinforcements from al-Omar Oilfield to the eastern banks of Euphrates River

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Syria Democratic Forces bringing large military reinforcements to the eastern banks of Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory monitored these reinforcements exit from al-Omar Oilfield area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor; and headed towards Hajin area, in which clashes are taking place every now and then, between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the International Coalition against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the vicinity and outskirts of Hajin town.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Friday morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the clashes renewed on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where clashes took place during the last night between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the outskirts and the vicinity of Hajin town, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and these clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, and these clashes are coincided with information obtained by the SOHR about preparations by the SDF and the International Coalition, to start a military operation in the southern sector of Al-Hasakah countryside, in an attempt by the SDF to take the control of the enclave that is located in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah adjacent the organization’s controlled areas in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and the operation is expected to be carried out in the next few days.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published, that 28 members of the “Islamic State” organization –including 7 commanders– of the organization were killed as a result of airstrikes by warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition, where the warplanes targeted Hajin town located at the eastern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on Tuesday, the 17th of April 2018, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the airstrikes on Tuesday night targeted a meeting of commanders of the so-called “Euphrates State” in a house the organization had seized in Hajin town, which killed this number of ISIS members.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published in early April 2018, that it monitored the continuation arrival of new vehicles to al-Omar oilfield since about 48 hours ago until now, and in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: tens of vehicles carrying on board materiel and equipment have arrived at the al-Omar oilfield, which is taken by the American forces as a military base in the east of Euphrates River.
