The Syria Democratic Forces carry out raids in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Syria Democratic Forces carried out a raid in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, seeking some of their wanted on charges of “working with the regime forces and cooperation with them”, where the Syria Democratic Forces carried out raids in several villages in this countryside, after the clashes that took place 2 days ago between the Syria Democratic Forces against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and information about the flee of some of the wanted to SDF controlled areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 29th of April 2018 that the Syria Democratic Forces managed to achieve an advancement and regained control of 3 out of 4 villages they lost it in an attack by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on Sunday morning, the 29th of April 2018, where violent clashes took place between both parties on the eastern banks of Euphrates River opposite to Deir Ezzor city, where the regime forces were able to advance in 4 villages: al-Ji’aa, al-Jninah, al-Hsan and Shaqra, before the Syria Democratic Forces carry out a counterattack, during which the regime forces were forced to withdraw from 3 villages, while the operations continue in an attempt by SDF to regain control of all what they lost.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of at least 9 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in addition to the injury of others, the Syrian Observatory also documented the death of at least 6 fighters including 2 commanders of the Syria Democratic Forces, and more than 22 others were injured, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
