Renewed airstrikes target the south of Damascus in conjunction with the ongoing fighting in the area

Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the warplanes renewed their raids targeting areas in the southern part of the capital Damascus, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored targeting by warplanes to areas in Al-Tadamon and other areas in Yarmouk Camp and Al-Hajar al-Aswad, in conjunction with artillery and rocket shelling on the same places, where the shelling targeted ISIS-controlled areas, amid violent clashes between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, as a pat of the latter’s attempt to achieve further advancement and reduce ISIS scope of control and confine it in a narrower scope inside the south of Damascus, and information about new human losses in the ranks of the both parties, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past few hours, that it documented more casualties due to the continued military operations in the area, where it rose to 99 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities who were killed in 13 days of fighting, including several officers first officers (5 of them were executed) and at least 9 of them were killed on Tuesday, also it rose to 86, the number members of the “Islamic State” Organization who were killed during the same period as a result of the shelling, clashes and targeting, which also left tens of injuries in the ranks of both parties, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
