The “Islamic State” organization carries out a new attack against the regime forces and their allies west of Euphrates River
Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Arab and foreign nationalities against the “Islamic State” organization, during the hours of last night in al-Boleel Desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after an attack by the organization on positions of the regime forces in the area west of Euphrates River, amid intense shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, and the clashes caused confirmed casualties in the ranks of both parties.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published two days ago that on Wednesday, the 2nd of May 2018, the recovery the “Islamic State” Organization in the Syrian territory has completed its 50th consecutive day, since the beginning of this recovery on the 13th of March 2018, which was concentrated on the contact fronts with the regime, and the Organization targeted by its attacks the regime and its allies in Deir Ezzor, Damascus and Homs, and each time casualties fall in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, as well as in the ranks of the “Islamic State” Organization, whose first attack after the recovery was by targeting al-Kadam neighbourhood in Damascus, of which it lost about 72 hours earlier in an attack by the regime forces against it in the southern section of the capital, Damascus.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the escalation of number of casualties among the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and members of the Organization, in the attacks that took place near the western banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, southern desert of Bokamal, the administrative border between Deir Ezzor and east of Homs, the eastern desert of Homs province, and, the southern section of the capital, Damascus, where it rose to 605, the number of deaths of both parties, in the three provinces during 50 days of clashes in al-Bokamal, the countryside of Deir Ezzor and south of the capital Damascus, also it rose to 208 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in the same battles, since the recovery of the Organization in the 13th of March 2018, also tens of others of both parties were killed and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to the presence of missing members and captives in the ranks of the both parties.
