Shells and explosive bullets target the regime’s controlled areas leaving casualties in the south of Damascus with the continued fighting against the organization

Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions were heard in Al-Tadamon area, in the southern part of the capital, caused by the fall of shells on the regime forces’ controlled areas, which caused material damage, and resulted in the fall of a number of wounded some of whom have seriously injured, while a person died affected by the injury he had as a result of explosive bullets in Al-Zahirah area next to Al-Tadamon, while the clashes are continuing between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, n areas in the vicinity and outskirts of Yarmouk Camp and the neighborhoods of Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Al-Tadamon, in the southern part of the capital Damascus, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces by artillery and rocket shells and bombardment by warplanes on the organization’s controlled areas, and information about more human losses.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published a few hours ago, that continuous clashes and shelling in the southern section of the capital Damascus have caused more casualties, where it rose to 195 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, who have been killed since Thursday the 19th of April 2018, including 24 officers and 9 of them were executed, while it has increased to 151, the number of members of the organization who were killed in the shelling, clashes and targeting that left tens of wounded in the ranks of the both parties, and the death toll is expected to rise because of the continued combat operations and the presence of injured cases in critical situation.
