Renewed Assassinations in The Countryside of Idlib Kills and Injures Several People Including Fighters

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard on the road between Idlib and Ma’arrat Mesrin in the northern countryside of Idlib, caused by the detonation of an IED in a car of fighters of a rebel army operating in Idlib and in the countryside of Hama which caused casualties, where at least one person was injured and another one was killed, also a person was injured by an IED explosion at the Shabur junction in Saraqib area, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday night that unidentified gunmen assassinated a member of the political body in Idlib province, Abdulla Al-Dala’, after he was kidnapped about a month ago, where his body was dumped in Al-Dana area, in the northern countryside of Idlib, also unidentified gunmen targeted by an explosive device, a vehicle carrying fighters in Ariha city, in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, which resulted in the fall of wounded, while a person was killed in after being shot, and local sources informed that he was killed while he was trying to assassinate a person on Qorqina Road, while an IED exploded on the road between Saraqeb and Sarmin, targeting a vehicle of Tahrir Al-Sham, which injured several persons, while unidentified gunmen targeted a vehicle in Kafr Nubl area in the western sector of Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside, targeting members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham which killed a member of them and another was injured, and the Syrian Observatory published two days ago, that it monitored that the assassinations returned to escalate in both Idlib and Aleppo countryside, where the Syrian Observatory monitored in the past 24 hours, an assassination attempt which targeted the Islamic Party of Turkestan in the outskirts of Jisr Al-Shughur city, which injured two members , while 2 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed after being targeted by unidentified gunmen in a headquarters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Tall Hadiya area in the southern countryside of Idlib, the SOHR also documented that unidentified gunmen assassinated 4 Uzbek fighters by shooting a vehicle they were traveling in on the road to Maarrat Misrin town in the northern countryside of Idlib, in addition to the explosion of 2 explosive devices in Idlib city and its countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored assassinations for 4 consecutive days, since they started in Idlib on Thursday the 26th of April 2018 until the 29th of the same month, where about 35 persons were killed as a result of explosions of explosive devices and shooting by unidentified gunmen, where the escalation of these assassinations comes again about 48 hours after the fighting had stopped between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where several intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that an agreement had been reached between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Nour al-Din al-Zenki and Ahrar al-Sham Movement after the bloodshed and clashes in the abolition war between both parties in Idlib Province and the western countryside of Aleppo, which killed hundreds of civilian and fighters of both parties, where the agreement stipulates:

 “to end the clashes permanently and fully starting from the date of signing and publishing the agreement and keeping the situation in free areas as it is now, stopping the arrests between both parties completely and opening the roads and removing the checkpoints, and the return of displaced people to their homes, and definitive suspension of media incitement in official and loyal accounts, and the release of detainees from both parties according to a schedule between both of them, establishing a committee of both parties and mediation committee to follow up on carrying out the agreement, and the start of extensive and wide consultations to reach a comprehensive solution at the military, political, administrative and judicial levels”, where this agreement comes after violent clashes that caused large human losses especially in the ranks of both parties in Idlib and the western of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory documented the rise of number of casualties among the rival factions in the abolishing war and civilians, where it rose to at least 231, the number of members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham who were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham in the countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 174, the number of fighters of Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Soqur al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, since the 20th of February until today, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to information about other casualties the Syrian Observatory wasn’t able to documented so far, also the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 26 civilians, including 9 children and 5 women since the outbreak of clashes in the 20th of February 2018, as a result of the random shelling and shooting in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.
