A verbal argument develops into a fight between a Military Brigade against the free police in a town on the border with Turkey killing a dissident officer and leaves 8 other wounded

The town of Al-Ra’I on the border with Turkey, which is controlled by the factions operating within the Turkish-backed operation of the “Euphrates Shield”, witnessed tension between a faction operating in the area and the free police operating in the town, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights; the town is witnessing a state of alertness and tension, followed a fight took place between Al-Muntasir Brigade against the free police, in the market of the town, after a verbal argument which developed into clashes, which resulted in the fall of human losses, where a lieutenant defected of the regime forces was killed, while 8 others were injured including 4 members of the brigade, amid attempts to calm the situation down by parties intermediated to stop this fight.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 7th of May 2018, that fighting reignited between the factions in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, after calm lasted for about 24 hours, in the wake of the fighting which took place between al-Hamzah Division and a family from Al-Bab city against the fighters of al-Sharqiyyah factions most of which are from Deir Ezzor Province, during which 11 fighters and citizens were killed and tens others were injured with varying severity, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored this evening the 7th of May 2018, the break out of violent fighting between Sultan Murad Division against Liwa Suqour al-Shamal, which are supported by Turkey and operating under the umbrella of the “Euphrates Shield” Brigade, where intersected sources confirmed to the SOHR that the fighting included the areas of Hawar Kilis, Dudyan, Hirjilla, Al-Kherbeh, Qara Mazra’a and Baghidin, in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, as a result of tension erupted between them then developed to violent fighting in which shells and medium weapons were used, amid a state of alertness in the ranks of the both parties, and the intensity of the clashes between them, while factions operating in the area, try to intermediate to stop this fighting, and information about the fall of human losses as a result of the clashes and fighting there, amid information about the decline of the fighting pace with the intermediation of factions operating in the area, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also published on the 6th of May 2018, that it monitored the return of cautious calm to Al-Bab city, which is controlled by the “Euphrates Shield” Operation forces, in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, where this calm came after clashes which were finished after the deployment of separating forces of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation forces, which entered the city, at the time of the violent clashes which took place between al-Sharqiyyah factions of which most of its fighters are from Deir Ezzor Province and Jaysh Al-Islam, against a family from Al-Bab city and al-Hamzah Division, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties and of citizens as a result of the exchange of targeting and using the light, medium and heavy weapons, and the SOHR learned that 11 persons at least were killed including 4 citizens including a woman, as well as the death of a group leader in al-Sharqiyyah factions with a number of his members, will tens of citizens and members in the ranks of the both parties were injured in this fighting, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on Sunday the 6th of May 2018, violent clashes between fighters belongs to al-Sharqiyyah factions of which most of its fighters are from Deir Ezzor Province, against members from al-Hamzah Division and gunmen from Waki family in al-Bab city in the northeast countryside of Aleppo, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a violent fight is taking place on between both parties in areas in al-Bab city, after an assault by the latter on fighters from al-Sharqiyyah factions and wounding 2 members of them, the 2 members were taken receive treatment, and the fight turned into a violent clashes in which heavy and medium weapons are being used, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties, where several persons have been killed and injured as a result of these clashes, and two of them at least have been confirmed dead, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the alert situation in al-Bab city by factions operating in the area, in order to calm things down, while the fighters of Jaysh al-Islam took the side of al-Sharqiyyah factions after they reached the area in the past few days, with in the displacement operations from the Eastern Ghouta to the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, amid popular discontent of these clashes that are taking place in the northern countryside of Aleppo, within areas controlled by “Euphrates Shield” Operation Forces, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of congestion among the people in al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, in conjunction with widespread resentment by the citizens inside the city against the backdrop of what took place in two hospitals within the city, and from shooting by soldiers of the Turkish Forces inside the city, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the arrival of soldier carrier carrying members of the Turkish Forces in full field dress, and when they raised their weapons in the faces of the citizens who were gathered protesting against the actions of a group of al-Hamzah Division; the citizens demanded them to get their weapons down saying, “get your weapons down, get your weapons down, we are in our country, we are in Syria our land”, which pushed members of Turkish Forces to shoot in order to disperse the people, and they also beat up one of the activist who filmed their arrival inside the city, the Syrian Observatory also published on Saturday that Al-Bab city which is controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation supported by Turkey, is witnessing close of roads and civil protests in response to fighters’ assault in the city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, and in details Obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a group called “al-Yaba”, which is one of the groups that belongs to al-Hamzah Brigade working in area, entered al-Hekma and al-Salam Hospitals in al-Bab city, and they took a nurse from al-Salam hospital, they also assaulted staff members and insulted some of them by cursing them, which prompted al-Salam hospital to stop working, where the city is witnessing protests by tens of citizens in the city in response to the actions of the factions in the city, where the protesters set fire to the roads and closed them, demanding the factions to get their hands off the city and holding accountable those who assaulted both hospitals, where al-Hamzah Division “dismissed the group and brought them to court to be hold accountable”.
