Idlib province witnesses more assassinations and targeting processes by explosive devices

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion was heard in the eastern countryside of Idlib, caused by an IED explosion on the road between Saraqeb town and Jobas village, which targeted a vehicle of a faction operating in the area, which killed a member, while an IED explosion was heard on the road to Darkush near Basandina area, without information about injuries, while an imam of a mosque was killed in Marat Matr area in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, after being shot during a quarrel between the residents of the town, and the SOHR published few hours ago, that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a checkpoint of Al-Sham Corps at the outskirts of Taladah village in the western countryside of Aleppo then escaped, where a member of Al-Sham Corps was killed and tow other members were injured, in an extension of assassination by anonymous actors and targeting by unidentified gunmen, and the SOHR pubkished in the past few hours, that members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carried out a raid operation and arrested people in Idlib city yesterday, Monday the 21st of May, where 2 people were arrested on charges of “belonging to the Islamic State and involving in assassinations in the area”. and in the same context, members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham also raided Korin village south of Idlib, attempting to arrest a former leader in the” Islamic State “organization, where clashes took place between the former leader and a group loyal to him against members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, which caused injuries in the ranks of both parties, but Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was not able to arrest him, these attacks and arrests come after the escalation of assassinations in Idlib province, by explosive devices and bullets of unknown people which targeted the factions and the civilians, where tens of people were injured and killed, most of them are from Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham.
