More than 100 rocket shells target neighborhoods of Aleppo city during the last 48 hours within the escalation of targeting

Aleppo province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: more explosions violent shook areas in the western section of Aleppo city –which is under the control of the regime forces– after midnight of yesterday, due to the fall of tens of rocket shells in a renewal of targeting operations for the area by shells, where the shells targeted areas in Nile Street, Al Khalediah neighborhood, their outskirts and surroundings, and al-Zahra neighbourhood and other areas in the city, which caused substantial material damage but no information about casualties yet, raising to more than 105, the number of shells fell since Thursday until now on the western part of Aleppo city, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, Friday, that the regime forces’-controlled neighborhoods of Aleppo city witness the continuation of fall of shells extensively on several of its areas, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of more than 50 shells after midnight of yesterday on places in the neighborhoods of Nile Street, Khaldiyyah, their outskirts and al-Zahra, which caused great destruction in areas where they fell, but no information about casualties so far. This scene has been repeated almost daily in the city, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Thursday, the 24th of May that the fall of rocket shells continues on places in the western part of Aleppo city which is under regime forces’ control, where more than 45 rocket shells have fallen since yesterday night until dawn of today, Thursday, on places in Nile Street and the outskirts of Zahra neighborhood, which caused material damage in the areas where the shells have fall, but no information yet about casualties, it worth mentioning that the frequency of the fall of shells on Aleppo city has escalated recently, where the city is witnessing almost daily fall of shells on its areas since the 4th of May 2018.
