A Saudi commander is assassinated raising to 129, the number of citizens and fighters who have been assassinated since the start of targeting escalations and the increased security chaos

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the assassination of a commander of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, of the Saudi nationality, after being shot by unidentified gunmen in Tahtaya Farms, in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, as a part of the continued assassinations which target fighters and commanders of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the other factions operating in Idlib countryside and both Hama and Aleppo countryside, as well as citizens and merchants, by unidentified gunmen whether by detonating IEDs or by shooting, raising to at least 129, the number of people who were killed in Idlib countryside, they are 35 civilians including 6 children and a woman, who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 79 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 15 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, and Caucasian nationalities were assassinated in the same ways during the past month, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, and among the total number of casualties there are 57 persons, and they are: 17 civilians including a child and a woman, 37 Syrian fighters, and 3 Uzbek fighters; were killed by shooting and IED explosions in Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Aleppo.

And the Syrian Observatory published that the security force in Idlib, carried out an execution against 2 persons on charge of “belonging to the Islamic State organization” where the sources confirmed that the both persons are descended from Deir Ezzor province, and they were arrested by the security force during raids that were carried out earlier, and they were executed in the past 24 hours, and the SOHR published on the 1st of May 2018, that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham executed 2 persons by shooting them this morning in Al-Dana town in the northern countryside of Idlib, on charge of “planting IEDs and that they are cells belong to the “Islamic State” organization, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 19th of May 2018, members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham carrying out an execution in Idlib city, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham executing 4 people, on charges of “carrying out assassinations and explosions”, where the execution took place in al-Sa’aa area in the middle of Idlib city, and tens of citizens -including children- gathered at the place of execution.
