28 casualties including 8 children and women were killed by warplanes in Zardana’s massacre

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the number of casualties is continuing to increase as a result of the massacre which was carried out by warplanes by targeting Zardana town in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib today evening, Thursday the 7th of June 2018, where it rose to 28 persons including 4 citizen women and 4 children under the age of eighteen as well as a member of the civil defense, the number of casualties whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory until now of who were killed as a result of the massacre, while the rescue teams are continuing to recover the trapped people from under the rubble, amid information about more casualties, while the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of about 50 injuries some of whom are in serious conditions, it is noteworthy that the town witnessed two rounds of fighting between Jaysh Al-Ahrar against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in which each round lasted for hours, intervened by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, which resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties, in addition to leaving civilian casualties in it.

And the SOHR published last night that it monitored violent clashes in Zardana village in the northern countryside of Idlib, between members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against members of Jaysh Al-Ahrar, amid exchange of targeting between the both parties, where one member at least of Tahrir Al-Sham was killed and others in the ranks of the both parties were injured, amid information about casualties in the ranks of the both parties, as well as information about the injury of citizens as a result of the clashes, and sources confirmed the Syrian Observatory that these clashes came after Jaysh Al-Ahrar was prevented by members of Tahrir Al-Sham from establishing checkpoints in the village, in the same context, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a checkpoint of Jaysh al-Izza, in Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, then they escaped, on the other hand, members at a checkpoint of Tahrir Al-Sham have arrested a member of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement in Idlib city, and took him to unknown destination, without information about the reasons and nature of this arrest.
