Shells target west of Aleppo city leaving several injuries within the constant escalation on the front of presence of Hezbollah and the Iranian Forces

Aleppo province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a military leader of al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah was shot dead by unidentified gunmen; in al-Qimariyyeh village in the countryside of Afrin city northwest of Aleppo city after midnight of yesterday, and then the gunmen run away, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of more than 12 rocket shells after midnight of yesterday on places in Nile Street and its outskirts and surroundings in the western section of Aleppo city, which caused injuries and material damage in the property of citizens, also the regime forces shelled intensively after midnight of yesterday places in western suburbs of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, Thursday, that violent explosions shook Aleppo city at dawn of today, Thursday, the 7th of June 2018, caused by carrying out several raids by warplanes on the factions’-controlled areas in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a area west of Aleppo city, with no information until the moment about casualties, while the hours of last night witnessed the fall of more of rocket shells launched by the factions on areas in Nile Street and Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood; and on other areas controlled by the regime forces in the western section of Aleppo city, no information about casualties, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday intensive exchange of targeting by tens of shells in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the Islamic and rebel factions, where the regime forces fired more than 120 shells targeting places in Kafr Hamra by about 70 shells of them, and about 50 shells of them targeted areas in Haritan town, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while the factions targeted positions of the regime forces in Bashkoy village north of Aleppo, by about 40 rocket shells, and no information about injuries was reported yet.

This targeting comes within the escalation witnessed in Aleppo city and its outskirts as well as its northern, western and southern countryside in the past few days, where the Syrian Observatory published that 3 fighters at least of the factions were killed during clashes against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the area of Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa west of Aleppo two days ago.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 72 hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the escalation of targeting operations, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and between the factions, which came days before the visit of a Turkish reconnaissance delegation to al-Rashedin area west of Aleppo city, where the delegation wandered into the area, after which it established observation posts included Turkish Forces with heavy vehicles and equipment, after the previous observation posts which were established in several Syrian areas, while the escalation of targeting between the regime forces and the factions has completed one month where it started on the 4th of May 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fall of more than 192 shells on areas in Aleppo city, most of them fell on the western part of the city, which caused casualties and damaged the property of citizens, while the regime forces targeted by tens of artillery and rocket shells areas controlled by the regime forces on the western outskirts of Aleppo city, which also caused human losses and material damage.
