After 5 of its members were executed and slaughtered…Idlib countryside witnesses a state of alertness by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in search for “cells of Idlib State of the Islamic State organization”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a state of alertness by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in Idlib province, where a number of reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is carrying out more raids and security chases, in search for “cells of the Islamic State organization”, who escalated their attacks in the recent weeks, in which the last one was carried out during the past 24 hours, where these cells executed 5 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where 3 of them were slaughtered and the other two members were killed and the body of one of them was hung, and the sources confirmed that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is seeking through its security operations to end the assassinations which targeted many of its members and commanders, and to try to impose its presence in controlling the security chaos in Idlib countryside.

And the Observatory documented the death of 138 people at least, in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are 35 civilians including 6 children and 2 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 88 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 15 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways since the 26th of April 2018, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization. And among the total number of casualties there are 62 persons, and they are: 17 civilians including a child and a woman, 37 Syrian fighters, and 3 Uzbek fighters; were killed by shooting and IED explosions in Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Aleppo.

And the SOHR published today morning, Sunday, that 2 bodies were found in Ariha city after midnight of yesterday. And in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: two bodies believed to be for 2 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were dressed the orange dress and were found killed at al-Hadid bridge in Ariha city in the southern countryside of Idlib, where one of the bodies was hung and the words “Islamic State of Idlib… punishment according to act” were written on both bodies, where this killing comes hours after the” Islamic State “organization’s execution of 3 Tahrir al-Sham members, where the Syrian Observatory published last night, Saturday, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the “Islamic State” organization has executed 3 members, intersected sources said that they are members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the organization, under the name “Idlib State”, executed the 3 members by slaughtering and beheading them, after it made them wear “the orange suit”, where this execution came as a response of the raid and bloody fighting which accompanied it in Kafr Hind village, in the countryside of Salqin city, in the north-western countryside of Idlib, which targeted former members of the organization, on charge of being “sleeper cells of the organization”, in addition to the execution of 6 other persons by Tahrir Al-Sham, on charge of “belonging to the organization and forming sleeper cells”.

And calm returned on Tuesday, to the countryside of Salqeen city in the northwestern countryside of Idlib, after clashes lasted for hours since before sunset on Monday, the 4th of June 2018, between members of the security committee of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against gunmen belong to an Iraqi family; accusing them of being a cell of the “Islamic State” organization, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes caused the death of large number of members in addition to capturing and arresting others, where at least 22 of the Iraqi gunmen who were accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” were killed during the security operation in Kafr Hind village in the countryside of Salqeen city, while Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham was able to capture other gunmen of the same family, also, at least 5 members of the security force of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed and others were injured, and this security operation –which caused violent clashes and large numbers of casualties– coincides with the continuation of security operation of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham north of Idlib, where sources reported to the Syrian Observatory that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is seeking to carry out more raids and arrests in the northern countryside searching for “cells of the Islamic State organization”, including more Iraqis who came to the Syrian north after fleeing Iraq.
