After the airbases of Hama, Jarrah, and Masyaf and east Idlib, an explosion of arms and ammunition depots in al-Qutayfah about 20 km away from the Lebanese – Syrian border

Rif Dimashq province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a series of explosions shook al-al-Qutayfah area of the Western Qalamoun which is about 20 km away from the Syrian – Lebanese border, caused by a new explosion that hit warehouses in the area, where the warehouses contain weapons, equipment and ammunition, but no information received until now about the causes and nature of the explosions as to whether the explosions were caused by targeting the warehouses, or as a result of a technical error in the warehouses, where the sound of explosions was heard consecutively caused by the explosion of ammunition within the warehouses, and information about the killing and injury of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them as a result of these explosions.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 6th of June 2018 that explosions rocked Jubb Ramlah which is controlled by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them in the countryside of Masyaf city in Hama countryside, today the 6th of May 2018, caused by the explosion of an ammunition warehouse of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, where the smoke was seen rising in the sky of the area, and no information was reported yet about the reasons of the explosion and whether it resulted in the fall of human losses, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of May 2018, that violent explosions rocked the eastern countryside of Idlib, they were caused by an explosion in the regime’s controlled area, which caused the rise of smoke, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the explosions hit weapons and ammunition warehouses in the area of Tell Sultan which is located at a distance of about 9 km to the north-west of Abu Al-Duhur Military Airbase, which caused mass material damage, and confirmed information about the fall of casualties in the ranks of gunmen loyal to the regime forces of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in the third explosion that hit airbases and nearby areas in about 18 days.

And successive explosions rocked the eastern countryside of Aleppo less than 4 days ago, intersected sources said that they were caused by explosions in Al-Jarrah Military Airbase, believed to be of weapons and ammunition warehouses in the airbase, which the regime forces and their allies controlled in 2017, and the explosions resulted in the death and injury of members of the regime forces and their allies, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 members at least as well as the injury of others with varying severity, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions and information about more casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 18th of May 2018, that it rose to 28 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian nationality who were killed as a result of explosions in ammunition and fuel depots at Hama airbase west of Hama city, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and no information has yet been received as to whether the explosion caused by a technical defect or by attacks on the warehouses, which caused considerable destruction and the heavy smoke rose in the sky of the area.
