New explosion hits Idlib city within the series of explosion that targeted it in conjunction with the continuation of security chaos

Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a violent explosion shook Idlib city, intersected source suggested to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that it was caused by a booby-trapped explosion near the former checkpoint of al-Konserwah, in which there are fighters from an Islamic faction west of the city, and preliminary information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 26th of May 2018 that a violent explosion shook the middle of Idlib city, intersected source told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that it is believed to be caused by detonating a booby-trapped vehicle in the 30th Street area in the city, where the explosion caused heavy dust and smoke in the area, in addition to causing casualties as well, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 12th of May 2018 that it has increased to 28 at least, the number of casualties who were killed due to this detonations and were documented by the Syrian Observatory, they are 5 citizens at least, 10 members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and guards of the prison and 8 prisoners most of whom are cells of the organization, while the identity of the 5 remaining bodies is not known so far, reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that it was carried out by a booby trapped vehicle suggested to be an ambulance, which was detonated in the building after an attack during which the perpetrators managed to kill the prison’s guards.

The reliable sources also confirmed that the explosion was severe and caused gross material damage to the buildings and the property of the citizens even at a distance of hundreds of meters from the site of the detonation, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 19th of April 2018, that a violent explosion shook the industrial area in Idlib city, caused the smoke to rise from the place where the explosion took place and injured about 20 people and some of them were seriously injured. The information is conflicted about the cause of the explosion, where sources talked about an explosion of a car believed to be booby-trapped in the industrial area of Idlib city, while other sources suggested that it was caused by a missile targeting a from a drone, where city Idlib has been witnessing several explosions of this kind in the past days and weeks, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 13th of April 2018 that a violent explosion was heard in Idlib city, it was caused by an IED explosion near the canned food factory, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, while a child died as a result of the explosion that hit Idlib city, where the Observatory documented the death of 32 people (including 29 people including 23 children and women), they were killed as a result of an explosion that hit the area near al-Matlaq roundabout in Idlib city and caused a massacre in which 32 persons at least were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 43 persons, who were killed in Idlib city, as a result of an explosions that targeted the Ajnad Al-Quqaz faction (The Caucasian Soldiers), headquarter in 30th Street in Idlib city, on the 7th of January 2018, including 27 citizens at least including 14 children at least and 7 citizen women, while the death toll is expected to increase as a result of presence of dozens of injured people in serious conditions. While it is not known until now whether the explosion caused by detonating a booby trapped vehicle or a missile fired by warplane, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored large destruction caused by the explosion, while it worth mentioning that Idlib city witnessed explosions targeted several areas in the city and its outskirts weeks ago, some of which were targeted by vehicles, cars carrying commanders and members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and other factions supporting it, and these explosions left causalities.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday Tuesday the 12th of June 2018 that it rose to 139 people at least, in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are 35 civilians including 6 children and 2 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 88 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 15 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways since the 26th of April 2018, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization. And among the total number of casualties there are 62 persons, and they are: 17 civilians including a child and a woman, 37 Syrian fighters, and 3 Uzbek fighters; were killed by shooting and IED explosions in Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Aleppo.
