The factions operating in Latakia mountains manage to kill 9 officers and members of the regime forces by targeting them in Jabal Al-Turkman

Latakia Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the past few hours, intensive shelling by the regime forces, which targeted areas in the northern mountains of Latakia, where the shelling targeted areas in Jabal Al-Turkman, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, in conjunction with several targeting processes by the rebel and Islamic factions operating in the area, which targeted the area of Rabia and other areas in Jabal Al-Turkman, which resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 9 members at least including 3 officers including a major, also others were injured with varying severity, where the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 11th of June 2018, that the regime forces are continuing their targeting to fighters’ vehicles by thermal missiles in the contact areas in the mountains of the Syrian coast and Sahl Al-Ghab in Hama countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 12 fighters of the faction of the 2nd Coastal Division who were killed after vehicles belong to them were targeted by the regime forces by guided missiles, near al-Qahira village which is located in the north-western countryside of Hama, while they were heading to their positions in the coastal line, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 7th of June 2018, that the supply roads of Lattakia countryside which are Jabal al-Akrad and Jabal al-Turkman are witnessing frequent targeting by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where they are considered areas that are monitored by artillery and thermal missiles, because the regime forces are positioned on heights in the area, like Qal’aat Shalaf and al-Nabi Yunis summit which monitors the movements of Jabal al-Akrad, and the heights of the township of Rabiaa, Burj al-Bayda’a, Zahiya and Abu Ali hill in Jabal al-Turkman, these heights facilitated the process of monitoring parts of the western countryside of Jesr al-Shughur which is adjacent to Latakia mountains, thus, targeting military vehicles on this road, where the factions and their members take precautions when they take these roads, so they do not fall into ambushes and fire of the regime forces and their gunmen and missiles, and near the Syrian coastline and in a similar manner; areas in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama are witnessing similar targeting operations by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, through their monitoring for the roads of al-Ankawi – Qal’aat al-Madiq, Mansoura – Qal’aat al-Madiq and the roads leading to al-Ziyara, Khirbat al-Naqous and other towns in the area, where they target by thermal missiles, shells and heavy machineguns vehicles of the factions and even the civilians.
