After days of tension south of Aleppo, the tension returns between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and factions operate west of Aleppo against the backdrop of an attempted takeover of a farm

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored tension between the factions operating in the western sector of Aleppo and Hayyaat and Tahrir al-Sham, against the backdrop of the recent takeover of a farm in al-Jinah area in the western countryside of Aleppo, under the pretext of having no owner, but the people who were present at the farm brout out an official authorization paper from the farm owner, but Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham did not care about the document, which put the factions on alert state in the area and got Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham out of the farm, this tension west of Aleppo comes after about 72 hours of a state of tension took place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and Al-Sham Corps near the Turkish observation point in Al-Eis area in the southern sector of Aleppo countryside, and the sources confirmed that this state of tension came against the backdrop of an attempt by Tahrir Al-Sham to restore points in the vicinity of the Turkish observation point after they withdrew earlier for Al-Sham Corps, and these tensions come in the wake of threats by members of the Elite Forces of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the southern countryside of Idlib, to carry out a military operation against the factions operating in Aleppo countryside, accusing them of implementing regional agendas in the area.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Observatory monitored on the 4th of June 2018, that tension returned between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and between Jabhat Thowwar Syria, in the western countryside of Aleppo city, and reliable sources informed the SOHR that this tension was caused as a result of confiscating weapons of a group belongs to Jabhat Thowwar Syria by members of Tahrir Al-Sham, in the villages of Al-Sahara and Al-Tawameh west of Aleppo, amid several attempts by dignitaries from the city to settle the disagreement between the both parties for fears of the situations get aggravated after the latest fighting  between the factions in Idlib province and the western countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the fall of hundreds of casualties of citizens and fighters.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 24th of April 2018 that an agreement had been reached between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Nour al-Din al-Zenki and Ahrar al-Sham Movement after the bloodshed and clashes in the abolition war between both parties in Idlib Province and the western countryside of Aleppo, which killed hundreds of civilian and fighters of both parties, where the agreement stipulates:

“to end the clashes permanently and fully starting from the date of signing and publishing the agreement and keeping the situation in free areas as it is now, stopping the arrests between both parties completely and opening the roads and removing the checkpoints, and the return of displaced people to their homes, and definitive suspension of media incitement in official and loyal accounts, and the release of detainees from both parties according to a schedule between both of them, establishing a committee of both parties and mediation committee to follow up on carrying out the agreement, and the start of extensive and wide consultations to reach a comprehensive solution at the military, political, administrative and judicial levels”, where this agreement comes after violent clashes that caused large human losses especially in the ranks of both parties in Idlib and the western of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory documented the rise of number of casualties among the rival factions in the abolishing war and civilians, where it rose to at least 231, the number of members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham who were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham in the countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 174, the number of fighters of Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Soqur al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, since the 20th of February until today, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to information about other casualties the Syrian Observatory wasn’t able to documented so far, also the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 26 civilians, including 9 children and 5 women since the outbreak of clashes in the 20th of February 2018, as a result of the random shelling and shooting in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.
