The Syrian north witnesses ongoing assassinations along with the continuation of security chaos which claimed the lives of about 165 citizens and Syrian and Asian fighters

The state of security chaos has been continuing in Idlib province, and in the areas connected to it of the western countryside of Aleppo, as a result of the inability of the factions operating in the province to arrest the cells which carry out the assassinations whether by detonating IEDs or booby trapped vehicles, shooting, or abduction and murder, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the sound of a violent explosion in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib, caused by the explosion of an IED in a vehicle of a military commander of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement, which only caused material damage, without information about casualties, while one of the local commanders of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and he is one of those who are in charge of the booby tarps, was assassinated after being targeted by unidentified gunmen in the area of the western countryside of Al-Mohandessin in the western sector of Aleppo countryside, and the sources confirmed that the commander was detained by an Islamic movement operating in the western countryside of Aleppo, and he was released less than 72 hours ago, amid continued alertness by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in searching for persons who belong to theses cells that spread chaos in the area.

And with more casualties, it rose to 163 people at least, in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are 37 civilians including 6 children and 2 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 111 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 15 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways since the 26th of April 2018, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization. And among the total number of casualties there are 83 persons, and they are: 19 civilians including a child and a woman, 60 Syrian fighters, and 4 Uzbek fighters; were killed by shooting and IED explosions in Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Aleppo.
