After hundreds of Russian airstrikes, the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them control Bosr al-Harir and connect their controlled areas in the provinces of Daraa and al-Suwaidaa

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were able in the evening to control the strategic towns of Bosr al-Harir and Mlehat al-Atash in the eastern countryside of Daraa, where this control enabled them to connect Izra’a city with al-Suwaidaa Province, in addition to isolating the northeastern countryside of Daraa, but it is not known until the moment whether the areas north of Bosr al-Harir still have faction fighters. This control operation came with intense cover of fire during the last few days of hundreds of airstrikes by Russian warplanes and helicopters, in addition to the violent and heavy missile shelling using hundreds of missiles and shells, and the regime forces on Monday were able to achieve more advancement within al-Lajat area and expanded their control to 7 villages, where the regime forces seek to control the entire area located in the northeastern countryside of Daraa.

While the regime continued forces continued the missile shelling after midnight of yesterday on places in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city using more than 21 missile believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with the continuation of raids on places in the towns of Bosr al-Harir and al-Hrak, where it rose to more than 190, the number Air raids carried out by warplanes on places in the eastern and northeastern countryside of Daraa in addition to Daraa city during the past 24 hours, also it rose to about 105, the number of barrel bombs dropped on places in the same areas, also the regime forces targeted during the past 24th hours using hundreds of shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground places in the eastern countryside of Daraa and neighborhoods in Daraa city.

And the Syrian Observatory documented more casualties as a result of this heaviest escalation since the beginning of the military operation by the regime forces on the northern and northeastern countryside of Daraa, on the 19th of June 2018, where it rose to 32 citizens at least including a woman and her son, in addition to 6 women and 2 child girls, as well as 2 members of the civil defense, the number of citizens whose death was documented by the SOHR as a result of the aerial, artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on several villages and towns in Daraa countryside, also it rose to at least 29, the number of fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory in the aerial and ground shelling and violent clashes, while it rose to 24 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, of who has been killed since the 19th of June 2018, and until today, Monday, and information about more human losses in the ranks of the both parties.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Monday, that it monitored that the number of displaced people inside Daraa province, has increased to about 20000 persons of who have been displaced from the villages and towns of Al-Lajat, Al-Karak Al-Sharqi, Nahte, Bosr al-Harir, Eastern Mleha, Western Mleha, Maliha Al-Atash, and other areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa, towards areas near the Syrian – Jordanian border, amid fears of the increase of displacement due to the military operations east of the province, as a result of continuing the escalation by the warplanes and helicopters and by the regime forces, after the failure of the international parties in finding a solution to the situation of the Syrian south.
