After intense and violent shelling, the regime forces and their allies with the support of Russian warplanes control a town and a village east Daraa after dividing the area into two parts

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes are still taking place in the eastern countryside of Daraa, between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces controlling Nahta town and Samma village, after intense shelling and violent attack by the regime forces, which enabled them to expand their control in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas, where the regime forces are still continuing their shelling along with the aerial bombardment by helicopters and warplanes on Daraa city, and shelling by the regime forces on areas in the eastern and northern countryside Daraa, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored warplane carrying out raids targeting areas in Sayda, Eastern al-Kark, al-Jiza, and Eastern al-Gharya, causing more casualties, where it rose to 10 at least including a woman and 5 children, the number of people killed in the missile and air shelling on Dael, Jiza, Kahil, Msifra, Eastern al-Gharya, and Inkhil, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, raising to 56 citizens at least including a woman and her son, in addition to 8 women and 9 children, as well as 2 members of the civil defense, the number of citizens whose death has been documented by the SOHR as a result of the aerial, artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on several villages and towns in Daraa countryside, since the 19th of June 2018.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the displacement movement of people continues as the regime forces expand the air and ground shelling as well as the warplanes and helicopters of the regime and Russians, where tens of thousands of civilians have been displaced, they left their homes, villages, and towns and displaced toward areas far from the shelling and bombing, while reliable sources confirmed that the regime forces and after closing the roads in the face of the displaced people towards their controlled areas; have opened 2 main crossings towards their controlled areas, one of which is the Abu Kasir crossing near Dael area and the second one is Kafr Shams crossing in the northwestern countryside; for the displaced people coming from the countryside of Daraa and wish to enter areas controlled by the regime forces away of the artillery, missile, and aerial bombardment that follow them.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights earlier that the regime forces are preventing the citizens from entering their controlled areas, and they are also preventing them from heading to the capital Damascus, while checkpoints of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, have imposed royalties ranged between 50000 to 300000 SP, on those who want to enter the regime’s controlled areas or head towards areas outside the province, amid resentment by the displaced people against trading in them, the manner which the regime forces follow in the areas which are witnessing military operations, where they claim not to target the citizens and that they came to protect them.

The Syrian Observatory published today morning Wednesday that the warplanes since this morning carrying out more than 80 air raids targeting areas in al-Sora, Eastern al-Gharya, Saida, al-Msifra, Jiza, al-Hrak, Kahil, and Nahta in the eastern countryside, the town of Dael in the northern countryside of Daraa, and Tasil town which is controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid –which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in the western countryside of Daraa–, in conjunction with dropping more than 43 barrel bombs on areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, al-Sora town, and other areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa, which caused more destruction and damage to the infrastructure, medical centers, and citizens’ property, in addition to causing more casualties, where al-Jiza Hospital went out of work as a result of the shelling that targeted the hospital this morning, also Nasib hospital stopped providing services out of fear of being targeted which may cause a massacre, while it rose to 6, the number of hospitals that went out of service since the 19th of this month in the towns of al-Hrak and Bosr al-Harir, al-Msifra, Saida, Jiza, and Nasib, as well as two civil defense centers in Bosr al-Harir and al-Msikah.
