About 55 raids target 4 towns and villages in the countryside of Daraa with renewed shelling ground and barrel bombs drop amid continuous attempts by the regime to control al-Hrak town

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes and helicopters continue to fly in the eastern countryside of Daraa Province, in conjunction with carrying out more intensive air strikes, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Russian warplanes carrying out more than 53 raids since midnight of yesterday until now; Thursday morning, where they targeted by 25 raids places in Bosr al-Sham and 15 other raids on areas in al-Hrak town, and about 13 raids on places in the vicinity of Rakham and al-Msifra and other places in the area, also the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the towns of Rakhm and the Eastern Kark, while the regime forces continues to their rocket shelling targeting areas in al-Hrak, al-Msifra, Rakhm, Eastern al-Karak, Bosra al-Sham, and other areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

Intensive aerial and ground bombardment and shelling, come with the continuation of attempts by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them to control al-Hrak town, where the clashes between them and the rebel and Islamic factions continue, where the rebel and Islamic factions are trying to repel regime’s attacks and prevent them from advancing, amid information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the Syrian Observatory published last night, Wednesday, that Daraa province is witnessing continued escalation by the regime forces and the Russians, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling and clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in areas in Daraa city, along with ongoing clashes at violent pace, between the both parties in the area of the Brigade 52 and inside Al-Hrak town from the northern and eastern sides of the town and other areas nearby, within the continued operations by the regime forces to expand their control within the eastern countryside of Daraa, and decrease the factions’ scope of control, after the regime forces managed to achieve wide advancement in Daraa countryside through taking the control of the towns of Bosr Al-Harir, Maliha Al-Atash, Eastern Mleha, Western Mleha and Al-Lajat area which is being swept, after it became free of the fighters of the factions, while they are trying to take the control of Al-Hrak town and other villages in the eastern countryside of Daraa, also the factions targeted areas and neighborhoods controlled by the regime in Daraa city, which resulted in violent explosions rocked the area, and caused material damage in the place where the shells had fallen, and there is information about human losses as a result of the shelling, along with the ongoing fighting between the both parties inside the city.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the artillery and rocket shelling, where the shelling targeted areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, as well as other places in Da’el town, along with bombardment by warplanes and helicopters on areas in Al-Musayfirah town and areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the number of casualties of Al-Tayba massacre has increased to 13 casualties including 5 children under the age of eighteen and 3 citizen women, thus, it rose to 24 persons including 10 children and 4 women, the number of citizens who were killed today in Daraa province, raising in turn to 71 citizens at least including a woman and her son, in addition to 11 women and 14 children, as well as 2 members of the civil defense, the number of citizens whose death has been documented by the SOHR since the 19th of June 2018, as a result of the aerial, artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on several villages and towns in Daraa countryside.

In the same context, it rose to 22 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and their allies who were killed in detonating 2 booby trapped vehicles targeted them in Nahte town, raising to 58 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them including officers, of who were killed in the shelling and clashes during the same period, in Daraa countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also documented that the number of factions’ fighters who have been killed in the aerial and ground shelling and violent clashes, since the 19th of June 2018, has increased to 49 fighters at least, while the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored the regime forces sweeping the villages of Al-Lajat area in the north-eastern countryside of Daraa province, where the area includes more than 20 villages and towns, which are free of the presence of fighters, who were forces, during the control of the regime forces on Bosr Al-Harir and Maliha Al-Atash two days ago, to withdraw from the area before being completely besieged by the regime forces, where the factions have withdrawn towards the factions’ controlled areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa, while the regime forces have not entered the entire villages and towns of Al-Lajat area so far, and the Syrian Observatory also published few hours ago, that reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the displacement movement of people continues as the regime forces expand the air and ground shelling as well as the warplanes and helicopters of the regime and Russians, where tens of thousands of civilians have been displaced, they left their homes, villages, and towns and displaced toward areas far from the shelling and bombing, while reliable sources confirmed that the regime forces and after closing the roads in the face of the displaced people towards their controlled areas; have opened 2 main crossings towards their controlled areas, one of which is the Abu Kasir crossing near Dael area and the second one is Kafr Shams crossing in the northwestern countryside; for the displaced people coming from the countryside of Daraa and wish to enter areas controlled by the regime forces away of the artillery, missile, and aerial bombardment that follow them, where the regime forces opened 3 shelters for the displaced people in the towns of Izra’a, Jabab and Qerfah.
