After the end of the “half-day truce,” warplanes begin their raids targeting the eastern and northwestern countryside of Daraa and violent clashes west of Sheikh Meskin

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the warplanes start carrying out raids targeting areas in the countryside of Daraa Province, where the Observatory monitored the warplanes carrying out raids on areas in the towns of Tafas and Kahil, and Nawa city in the western and northwestern countryside of Daraa, in conjunction with explosions caused by shelling on other areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa, this calm comes after the end of the truce that was announced at midnight of Thursday-Friday, which was scheduled to last until noon of today, Friday, the 29th of June 2018, and the raids caused more destruction in citizens’ property but no information on information about casualties so far.

Also, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, after an attack by the latter on Tal Hamad area west of Sheikh Meskin town, in an attempt to advance at the expense of the regime forces and keep them busy from the front of the eastern countryside, and ease the pressure on them and achieve an advancement in the area, and the clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting between both parties in the clash areas, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a calm in Daraa Province, with the exception of aerial and ground bombardments targeting 2 areas in the province, where the warplanes targeted by several successive strikes areas in Kahil town in the eastern countryside of Daraa on Friday morning, the 29th of June 2018, and the regime forces launched several artillery and rocket shells on areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city and areas north of it, amid clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in areas at the airbase west of Daraa, but no information about casualties so far.

The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the military operations are still continuing in Daraa province, although the Russian – Jordanian truce have come into effect since today, Thursday, at 12:00 am and it is supposed to last until Friday at 12:00 pm, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored warplanes and helicopters targeting by raids and explosive barrels, places in Daraa Al-Balad in the city of Daraa, as well as other places in Al-Shahil town and other towns of in the eastern countryside of Daraa, accompanied by rocket shelling by the regime forces on the same areas, the SOHR also monitored fall of rocket shells fire by the factions after the midnight on the controlled areas of the regime forces in Daraa city, which resulted in the fall of wounded, as well as causing material damage.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the night of Thursday, that the skies of Daraa are witnessing continuous overflight by warplanes and helicopters, along with carrying out ongoing strikes on separated places of the province, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, Thursday, the 28th of June 2018, that the Russian warplanes carried out intensive raids on places in the towns of Nawa west of Daraa, and Al-Tayba, Al-Musayfirah, Al-Sahwah and Al-Jiza in the eastern countryside of Daraa, along with dropping more explosive barrels by helicopters on places in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, as well as Al-Musayfirah and other places in the east of Daraa, this bombardment is coincided with rocket shelling by shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, on places in Daraa Al-Balad and other places in the eastern sector of Daraa countryside, also the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them managed to complete to impose their control over Al-Hrak town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, following violent clashes against the factions under an intensive and violent aerial and ground cover, this intensive shelling is still continuing despite reaching a Russian – Jordanian agreement about a truce and a cease-fire in Daraa province, starts at 12:00 am until tomorrow, Friday, at 12:00 pm, where the continuation of shelling comes before the start of implementing the supposed agreement.
