In conjunction with violating the calm of the Syrian south by several shells, a violent explosion shakes the area of military depots within areas controlled by regime forces and their allies

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: at least one violent explosion was heard in the northern countryside of Daraa in the vicinity of al-Mahjeh area, which is under the control of the regime forces in the northern countryside of Daraa near al-Lajat area, but no information about whether the explosion was caused by targeting weapons depots in the area; or if it was an accidental explosion caused by a technical issue, where the smoke was seen rising in the sky, coincided with the continued calm in Daraa province except for the fall of several artillery and missile shells on places in Tafas area in the northwestern countryside of Daraa city, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.

Also, the explosion comes after a series of explosions and targeting for weapons depots of the regime forces and their Syrian and non-Syrian allies in several Syrian areas and airbases, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the 26th of June 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, that the Israeli strikes that were carried out by warplanes which were flying over the occupied Syrian Golan and targeted the vicinity of Damascus International Airport near the capital Damascus after midnight of yesterday; had targeted a shipment of Iranian weapons arrived at Damascus International Airport, and was transported to warehouses near the airport, the sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory that the shipment of weapons was targeted in the warehouses, before the Iranian forces and their allied militias transport it to another place, where the targeting caused explosions that shook the area, but no information about casualties so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 11th of June 2018 that a series of explosions shook al-al-Qutayfah area of the Western Qalamoun which is about 20 km away from the Syrian – Lebanese border, caused by a new explosion that hit warehouses in the area, where the warehouses contain weapons, equipment and ammunition, but no information received until now about the causes and nature of the explosions as to whether the explosions were caused by targeting the warehouses, or as a result of a technical error in the warehouses, where the sound of explosions was heard consecutively caused by the explosion of ammunition within the warehouses, and information about the killing and injury of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them as a result of these explosions.

And successive explosions rocked the eastern countryside of Aleppo less than 4 days ago, intersected sources said that they were caused by explosions in Al-Jarrah Military Airbase, believed to be of weapons and ammunition warehouses in the airbase, which the regime forces and their allies controlled in 2017, and the explosions resulted in the death and injury of members of the regime forces and their allies, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 members at least as well as the injury of others with varying severity, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions and information about more casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 18th of May 2018, that it rose to 28 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian nationality who were killed as a result of explosions in ammunition and fuel depots at Hama airbase west of Hama city, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and no information has yet been received as to whether the explosion caused by a technical defect or by attacks on the warehouses, which caused considerable destruction and the heavy smoke rose in the sky of the area.
